Justin came home with Gabriel the following Sunday. He had told Gabriel in church earlier that he needed to speak with him. When they arrived home Diane went to get dinner started while Gabriel and Justin went out to the pool to talk. "Okay, you're starting to worry me. What's going on with you?" Gabriel asks Justin who was staring into the water. "Hey, earth to Justin, what's up?" Gabriel asks again poking Justin's shoulder.
"I lied to you," Justin said softly. "About what?" Justin took a sheet of paper from his jacket and hand it to Gabriel. Gabriel read what was on it and looks at Justin in shock. "You have got to be kidding me. Justin why?' Gabriel asks in disbelief. "I just couldn't admit the truth. I didn't want to believe it. I still don't. I have been in denial for weeks but I can't do it anymore. I just can't." Justin said sadly and for a moment Gabriel was speechless.
"I didn't want you to be disappointed in God, seeing as though you prayed so hard for me but I guess God just wasn't listening that night. I had another test done just to make sure and it says the same thing the first one did. I have HIV."
Gabriel walks over and puts his hand around his friend's shoulders. "The only one here who deserves a dose of Aids is me. I have had sex with more girls than any one man should. I'm so sorry man, you really don't deserve this." Justin looks at him with tears running down his face. "Why prince? Why did this happen to me? I was faithful to her. I was always faithful, how could she do this to me?" Justin cried.
"Does she know?" Gabriel asks softly. "Yeah, I called her on Friday and told her everything." "There is no good explanation out there as to why bad things happen to good people..." Gabriel said running his fingers through his hair and shaking his head "Have you ever question God prince?" "Everyday man. I've always wanted to know why he took my brother and my parents away from me. I also wanted to know what bad thing have I ever done to deserve such a harsh punishment but I haven't gotten an answer yet."
"I haven't told anyone but you, if the guys found out about this they would probably scorn me," Justin said sadly. "Well if they do then they weren't good friends, to begin with. So okay, now that you're positive you have to start taking the medication for it. With this medication, you can live for years without any symptoms. You also have to eat right and exercise every day and I will be right here to help you." Gabriel said squeezing his friend's hand. "I can't live with this prince. I can't live with Aids."
"You don't have Aids, yet, you have the virus, and you have years before it turns into Aids. Aids is not a death sentence Justin, and even though there's no cure for it, it can be treated and furthermore, don't even think about killing yourself because if you do you will never enter heaven. We will take this one day at a time and we're telling the guys." He said taking a deep breath. "I need to know where they stand on this. And we also need to tell Diane but you don't have to tell anyone else if you don't want to." "I'm not going to wake up and realize this was just a nightmare am I?" Justin asks hopefully.
"No, you're not. This is something we're going to have to face head-on, so are we together on this?" Gabriel asks. "Well, it's not like I have a choice do I?" Justin asks fighting back his tears. "Unfortunately you don't." After Justin went home Gabriel told Diane about his situation and she reacted just the way he thought she would, with lots of compassion for Justin.
Diane smiles to herself as she enters the store. She was getting married in two weeks. She still couldn't believe she was actually going to marry this guy. She remembered how she had freaked out that night when she was supposed to go with him to a function. No matter what she had put on she still didn't feel like she measured up to him in any way but her sisters had pushed her from the house, telling her that she looked fine but never the less she still felt out of place and plain standing next to him as he greeted the guys that had invited him.
He was a knockout that night, come to think of it, he always seems to be a knockout. He always dresses like he was going for a photoshoot, designer suits and casual wear, army boots with buckles, watches, and glasses that look as if they cost thousands and he wears them all with flair and grace, much like a Prince.
And he wants her. Good Lord he wants her, he treats her, her daughter, and family like they were the most important things in his life and he was never shy about expressing his love for her. He was going to be her husband, that gorgeous sexy hunk was going to be hers and for that reason, she couldn't seem to wipe the ridiculous grin off her face but it instantly vanishes when she bumped into someone, stops and realized that it was no other than Kevin. "My girl, a wa you a do, stalk me?" He asks with a stupid grin on his face, kind of like the one she was just wearing. "This bitch again?" The woman that he was walking with said in disgust as she came to stand beside him.
"Sorry skank but you're going to have to get your own man, ain't nothing here for you." She said holding his hands in a possessive manner. "Don't worry, there's nothing here I want." She said turning away from them. "By the way, a wa you a do in ya, you can't afford anything in ya so eenuh my girl." He laughs.
"Get lost, Kevin." She said and heads down the aisle towards what she had come for. She was heading towards the cashier when someone came up behind her and wraps their hands around her waist. Thinking it was that nasty son-of-a-bitch playing another disgusting trick on her as he used to, she swings around and was about to blast him with some nasty language when she realizes it was Gabriel.
"Easy tigress." He laughs. "Maybe I should have thought that through before actually going through with it." He said scratching his head. "No' it's okay, I'm sorry. You just scared me there for a minute. What are you doing here? You said you had a meeting." She said looking around the store for her object of revenge and then, boom, he and the woman turn the corner and begin walking slowly down the aisle where she was and as if he could feel her eyes on him he looks directly in her direction and that was her Que. "How did you know where to find me?" She asks leaning in against him. "You told me, remember baby when you said you were going shopping today."
"Oh yeah, I forgot but I'm glad you are here." She said pulling his lips down towards hers and kiss him passionately. "So am I." He moans against her lips as his hands went around her waist and down to her hips. Gabriel didn't take the time to acknowledge anyone around him but she did, one person in particular and she couldn't help smiling as she got her desired reaction from the idiot that was gaping at her and the woman that was gaping at him as Gabriel squeeze her butt before taking her by her hand and leading her to the cashier.
It was now a week before his wedding. So much had happened in the last few months. Jasmine was now legally his daughter. She was now jasmine Elizabeth Maxwell. Diane and Jasmine both got their passports and visas. Gabriel had hired a wedding planner who was doing an excellent job. He had also told the guys about Justin's situation. They were shocked at first but then very supportive.
They didn't turn away from him or scorned him as he feared. Alex's doctor also had good news. Alex's brain activity was increasing and his body was healing nicely, and even though he was now breathing comfortably on his own he was still in a deep coma. But his chances of waking up had improved a lot. The police had finally released his mangled bike back to him and he had taken it to a friend of his that specializes in transforming bikes into whatever the customer wants it to look like and damn did he have a design in mind.
Diane was doing very well in her classes and she had also added computer class to her list. She had also taken her driving test and passed and was now a licensed driver. During her Easter break from school, they had fixed up one of the rooms for Jasmine. They decorated it into a pink Barbie room; it was every little girl's dream. Diane was planning on moving the stuff she needs to his house when they return from their honeymoon. The rest she will give her sisters.
She had chosen Orlando Florida for their honeymoon because she had always wanted to visit the holy land and of course, he agreed. Everything was on track so far. The church was booked, the reception venue which will be the Hilton ballroom was booked, his suit was ready, and her dress was ready. All he had to do now was leave the rest to the wedding planner and wait patiently for Saturday to come.
Diane stretch and open her eyes, she was alone in his massive bed, her thoughts shifts quickly to her daughter. Where was Jasmine? Oh yeah, Gabriel took her to school this morning. His Satin sheets felt soft and cool against her skin. The man sleeps on Satin sheets, for crying out loud, who does that? Although it wasn't always Satin, sometimes it was Cotton.
Back at her small apartment she would've been sweating like a pig even though she had a fan but not here, here the sheets were soft, cool, and relaxing thanks to his many A.C units that were always on full blast, thanks again to the sun. Loving this solar power, she smiles to herself.
She was about to get up when he walks into the room. "Stay." He commands setting a breakfast tray on the bed and after taking off his shirt he crawls on the bed towards her. "Wait, I need to use the bathroom." She said scampering away from him.
A few minutes later she came back out just in time to see him biting into a chocolate-covered strawberry. She carefully sat on the edge of the bed as not to tip the tray over but he pulls her towards him and push her flat on her back and came over her.
And after taking another bite of the strawberry he captured her lips with his transferring the strawberry from his mouth to hers. She wasn't used to this but it felt damn good. She thought returning his intensely passionate kiss. She began removing the rest of his clothes while moving seductively against him. And once again just the touch of her hands sends sexual energy surging from the top of his head to the sole of his feet. Which had him arching his back and pressing his body even closer to hers and then she satisfied him as only she can, and he did the same for her.
He was lying on his back trying to catch his breath when she came and sit on top of him. "Are you sure that's where you want to be right now?" He asks with a mischievously grin on his face. "Yes, this is exactly where I want to be." "Okay so while you're up there could you do something for me?" He asks licking his lips. "What would that be?" She asks kissing his nipples. "Let me feel inside of you." He whispers seductively.
"No, you can't." "Come on, you will be my wife in a few days, please just once. I won't even move. I just want to feel the inside of you, please baby girl." He begs. "Sitting on top of you wasn't such a good idea was it?" She laughs. "Okay but just this once." She said positioned herself on his thick erected shaft.
And needless to say, he wasn't prepared for the current that rocked his body and he had to bite down hard on his bottom lip in order not to cry out in ecstasy. She then tried to get up but he wasn't having it. "Don't, for the love of God, don't." He groaned gripping her waist with both hands. "Move on me a little baby please." "Baby you promised." "Please don't stop now baby we've come this far, just finish it." He moaned. "No, I'm not having sex with you, not yet." "You already are." He states. "No, I'm not; I'm just sitting here, I'm not doing anything."
He grips her waist tighter and starts moving beneath her, she tried to pull away from him but he wouldn't let her move. "Baby stop please, Gabriel stop!" Realizing his mistake he released her at once. "You're killing me slowly here baby." He groans in sexual frustration then sighs when he saw her scowling at him. "Alright, I'm sorry ...I…I'm sorry baby. I just got carried away." She pouts and turns away from him. "Please forgive me, baby girl, I'm sorry." He pleads.
"It's okay I forgive you, but I was wondering something." She said kissing his nose. "What's that?" "Do you want to start a family right after we get married?" "Not really, I need you to myself for a few months first." Diane laughs softly. "I was just thinking the same thing."
"I really am sorry I broke my promise, baby girl." She smiled and came over him again, I forgive you and you have to know that there's nothing I want more than to have sex with you, I just don't want our first time to be a sin okay." She said nibbling on his lips. "I understand, did I hurt you?" "No, I can handle it." "You can huh?" "Yes, and on our wedding night I'm going to show you just how well I can handle it." She said against his lips. "I can't wait."
A few hours later they walk into the garage. He walks towards the PAJERO and Diane puts her bags on the back seat. She was about to open the passenger door when he stops her. "Why don't you drive today?" He said holding up the keys. "Me? I can't manage this big vehicle." She said her eyes wide with dread. "Remember you always told me that you don't think you could manage me because of my size?" "Yes." "Well if I remember correctly you handle me just fine this morning." He states biting his lips. "That's different." "All I'm saying is that you won't know if you don't try." He said walking towards her.
"You would put your life in my hands like that?" She asks. "Yes, because I trust you." He replied still holding up the keys. " Crap, okay I'll try." She took the keys and got in the driver's seat, he entered the code and she turned the key and the vehicle came alive beneath her fingers. "Babe, I really don't think I can do this." She comments nervously. "Relax, just take a deep breath I'm right here beside you, you will be fine." He whispers massaging her fingers.
Diane sighs heavily as she adjusts her seat and puts on her seat belt, he did the same, he then pressed the button, and the garage door open. Diane steers the vehicle out of the garage and down the driveway slowly and Gabriel had to bite his lips to keep from laughing. "What's so funny?" She asks her voice trembling.
"Well if you want to get to school today and not later tonight I suggest you step on it." She presses down on the gas pedal slowly and after a while, she began to relax and add a little more speed. By the time she got to Red Hills, she was cruising.
"See, it's not so bad, is it? If I knew you would be this nervous I would have given you a test drive first." He chuckled. "It's just that while I was learning, there was an instructor next to me and he had controls on his side as well so if I lost control he could stop the car but if I lose control now I will probably kill us both."`
"You're not going to lose control just relax and focus and Diane; for God's sake; breathe." "Sorry I keep forgetting to do that." She chuckled nervously. "I know, you were starting to turn blue." He laughs.
