"Hey, hey. WAKE UP. If you don't, we will die"
A voice was ringing in Arthur's head at this point, and he opened his eyes only to see a middle-aged man with only one eye and a bloody beard. Seeing the blood and the missing eye, Arthur turned around and vomited, looking at the gruesome scene. "Arthur, I didn't think you'd be this weak. Hahaha, I guess I put too much trust in your ability," The man said.
Wait a second, where the hell am I? Arthur thought as he looked around, seeing people who look like soldiers with their swords and seeing goblins attacking these people. Am I in the game, or have I transported to another place? He thought of the second one as he has been reading a lot of novels recently.
"Interface," he said and didn't manage to see the supposed interface. Am I really not in the game? Then where the hell am I? As Arthur was thinking this, the man who woke him up then shouted, "Arthur, go attack. Why are you lying there? I thought you said you'd kill all the goblins. Hahaha. I already put in a word for you to be a troop commander after this, don't let me down" The man then went to the front and fought against the goblins. "Attack and Kill these bastards" "RAAAAAAAH" the soldiers shouted and started attacking more fiercely.
"What do you mean, kill all the goblins?" "Troop Commander?" What in the world is going on? However, while Arthur was thinking this, a goblin snuck into the backlines and hit Arthur on the head.
[You Died]
Arthur then saw the red text [You Died] and thought, I really am in the game, but where is the interface, and what the hell is going on. Shouldn't I be spawned in a town or village where I would be killing mice or chicken first? Why am I here, and who was that man. He was trying to think back, and he remembered seeing a mark in the man's vest which says 'Commander.' So is that my commander? But why am I in that body? Is that the character 'I' created? While thinking, he saw the button for Respawn and pressed it. That might just be the game being weird, and I might spawn in a town now.
"Wake UP, Arthur. If you don't, we will all die."
Arthur then heard this line again and opened his eyes. He once again saw the middle-aged man, with his one eye and bloody beard. However, this time he didn't throw up, but his stomach still felt bad. "You're awake, now let's go kill all of these bast*rds" The man said, and he rushed back to the front and fought against the goblins. Arthur saw this and remembered the goblin who snuck past the lines which killed him, and he stood up. Since I am in the game, then I shouldn't be taking this too seriously. This might just be a quest. He thought and saw the goblin who snuck past the lines and brought his sword up to defend himself; when he saw the goblin getting close, he swung the sword in his hand. However, Arthur saw his hand moving so slowly and got clubbed once again by the goblin and died. [You Died]
What the hell? Why couldn't I swing my sword? He then remembered that his character looked quite bloody, and his character was tired, making sense as to why he was asleep, and had to get woken up. Okay, now that I know what's going on, I should get up as soon as possible and swing my sword to the goblin earlier.
[Respawn]
"WAKE UP, Arth---"
Arthur opened his eyes as soon as possible and saw the man again. He then stood up. "That's my boy," The man said as he looked at Arthur, who stood up fast when he got woken up. The man went to the front and fought. Arthur, resting, saw the goblin once again, and now he started swinging the sword in his hand even before the goblin got close. He may have swung too early, and he missed; after that, he got clubbed again. [You Died]
F***, what a dumbass. I got too eager and missed. [Respawn]
"Wa—"
Arthur again opened his eyes and stood up. The man then rushed back to the front, seeing him standing up. Arthur saw the goblin once again and now waited till the goblin got closer, and he swung his sword. The sword and the club collided, giving out sparks. "Yes," Arthur thought, then realized he only blocked the first attack and regretted instantly celebrating as he got hit once again in the head by the goblin's second attack. [You Died]
"Aahhh, I forgot that I have to kill the goblin to survive, not just block 1 strike" [Respawn]
"W—"
Arthur stood up, and the man rushed back to the front. Arthur, now ready to kill the goblin, did what he planned and, after he blocked the first strike by the goblin, knowing that the goblin was aiming for his head. He turned the sword vertically to block the strike. After that, he willed his arm holding the sword to strike the goblin. The goblin got cut in the neck but still didn't die. Arthur then continued to slash with his sword. Seeing the goblin finally topple over. Arthurbreath a sigh of relief.

Arthur saw his status and everything. He saw that it looked the same as other people's menu box. However, he saw that his stats were like the stats of a LVL 3 person, while he himself was only level 1. He saw that his strength and vitality was the same as a Guardian's if they put both LVL 1 and LVL 2 points to their strength and vitality stat while prioritizing the strength section by just a little bit. He saw that his agility was the same as a LVL 3 swordsman, so he didn't pay too much attention to it.
However, looking at his INT stat, a measly 11 points. He frowned and was annoyed, is the game calling me stupid? He then remembered that the INT stat only put into consideration the ability of people to use Mana. Okay, we cool. He then opened his inventory.
INVENTORY
Lesser Smaller Health Potion x1
Lesser Stamina Potion x1
Lesser Bandage x2
Money:
Copper x97 | Silver x0 |Gold x0
He saw the potions and used it [Use], now his health went back up to 58 and his stamina 12. He then also put on the bandages [Use] and saw that his health was up to 98. Seeing his stats back up a little bit, he then remembered that he could not add any points to any of his stats. "WHAT THE HELL? Are these going to be my stats forever?"
When he thought of this, he was devastated and thought that he won't be able to catch up to any of the players and remembered that those maniacs are now at least LVL.9 with some experience to spare. However, the XP for LVL.10 is 10,000 as now people are able to get a profession and by LVL 15. have an upgrade on their class.
Willing himself, he thought that maybe I would be able to add points when I get to LVL.3 because it's a cheat that I have outstanding stats for a LVL.1 character.
