Arthur then started rummaging through the room he was in and found Earl's health and stamina potions and used them. [Use] He was able to bump his HP up to 150 and his stamina to 32, and now he was ready to start fighting. He also managed to find a knife in Earl's waist and took it with him, and with that, there was nothing else in the room besides some broken arm guard and gloves, which he didn't take. Checking the knife for its stats, Arthur was happy as it was almost as good as his past sword, even though it was already rusty at that point. [Iron Knife ~+10 Damage]

He tried swinging it around; however, he really didn't know how to properly use a knife beside the basic thrust and cut motion. Even with that, he was already happy, so he started going out of the room and sneakily went to the rooms beside it; he managed to find 4 more guards, presumably the people who take charge of the 1st and 2nd floor.

Seeing this, he didn't bother disturbing them or even trying to kill them in their sleep because that would make his already 1-hour job worthless if he died. He started looking for where the control room or where the keys were because from Earl's pockets, he didn't find the keys; although he has the keys from Warren, the people he has the keys for were already half-dead and didn't wanna move. (Remember, he checked through every cell on the 3rd floor when he killed Warren)

Sneaking around the place, he was happy to see a room filled with light with a metal door separating Warren and the room inside. Looking around for any spaces to fit his body through, he saw a window barred with 4 bars at the back of the room. Arthur seeing this determined he wouldn't fit through that, and so he found a box to step and would try to pry open the bars and let himself in. Climbing the box, he peeked through the window and saw many bundled keys on the wall and a person sleeping on the chair with a bunch of papers in front of him.

Making sure that the man was really asleep as he didn't want what happened to him earlier when he tried to kill Earl, he tried to pry open the bars only to feel that they weren't moving; he then took out his knife and started grinding the bars only ever so slightly before he could pry it open. Although grinding the bars made some noise, the person on the chair was still fast asleep. After some time, he managed to open enough space for his body to go through and sneakily hanged on the window before dropping down.

Making some noise when he dropped down, he was scared that the man would be woken up. Seeing his fear come through, he saw that the man started to move and open his eyes; not missing the opportunity where the man was still half-awake, he charged with his knife and plunged the knife straight through the man's right eye.

"Aaah"

The man screamed in pain as he pulled the sword in his waist and tried to stab Arthur with it; however, it was futile as Arthur grabbed the mans arm and yanked the sword out of his hand before putting himself further away and slashing the sword diagonally to cut the man in his stomach. The man died, and Arthur knew that the man might've woken up the other 4 guards, and so he readied himself, taking the man's chest plate, wristguard, and wing guard. [Long Sword ~+18 Damage] [Copper Chestplate ~+ 5 VIT] [Copper Wristguard ~+ 3 AGI] [Copper WingGuard ~+30HP] and now his stats looked like. [Status]

He earned 50 Experience Points from killing Earl and managed to get 75 Experience points from killing the man just now. Although he didn't know why the guard he just killed gave more Experience Points, he didn't really care. As he readied himself to fight the other 4 guards, that woke up. He took the keys from the wall and opened the metal door. As he opened the metal door, 1 guard rushed inside and tried to hack Arthur with his sword.

Arthur, taken by surprise, was hit on the chest with a slash [-50HP]; getting hit only once made Arthur lose a third of his health, and this made him more cautious; parrying the guards next sword slash, he kicked the man in the legs and seeing the man tumble. He used his skill [Double Cross] to deal damage to the guard, beheading him. As Arthur and the guard battle finished, the 3 other guards also made their way inside the room.

Arthur, knowing that he can't fight the 3 guards at the same time, threw the Knife to the one on the right who was closest to the door and rushed to him, slashing at him at the same time, and ran outside the door. Seeing that the path to Arthur was small, the 3 guards cramped up at the door, and Arthur waited for his skill to cool down. He slashed once again, hitting the man and almost killing him. Seeing his skill cooldown, he used it immediately [Double Cross] [Hit][Miss], the first part of the skill was a hit killing the man. However, the second one was supposed to hit the one at the back was a miss.

This made Arthur upset as he thought that everything was going to go as planned, incapacitating the 2nd man with his Double Cross, and after that, he would kill him with a sword slash. However, seeing it miss, he was sad. Although this was the case, he put it behind him and slashed once again at the man. The man parried very quickly as the man was going to counter-attack. Arthur put some space between him by jumping very slightly, going backwards; he held his sword with both hands and thrusted the sword at the man's abdomen.

Piercing the man's stomach and the 3rd guard behind him. Arthur then picked up the sword dropped by the first guard and slashed at the guards killing both of them. After that, Arthur slumped on the ground, dead tired (Which means his Stamina stat is almost 0, not really physically. Which I pointed out in the previous chapters).
