Chapter 42 : Giving you a thorough bashing.
Nectar and Liam had suddenly started sparring. Well, she really wanted to give him a thorough bashing for teasing her but he wouldn't be good and stay put.
Nectar was getting so frustrated she started using her powers and so did Liam but he had this smug 'You're to slow' smile on his face that irritated her even more.
She made water whips - they were basically whips made of contained flowing water - it wasn't fully developed since she didn't want to hurt him [ That could change at any time though ]
She was a general in the Actso army, a black belt in her second life and a tired empress in her third one [ I think that's a very scary combination ] Liam had also made a storm staff.
Since he was the strongest sort of Galer, a storm maker, he could condense air around him which is what he'd just done.
She attacked again but this time he caught her whip and sent slight shocks of electricity through to her. Growling, she stumped her foot to shake it off " Just let me beat you up and we can move on with our lives ".
Liam rubbed his chin, leaning on the staff " Nah, I don't think so and besides it wouldn't be fun, just the way you like it ". Nectar flayed her whips making them longer " Are you really using my words against me "?
Nectar spun halfway sending out water that sent Liam flying into a tree. Though he choked slightly, he was simply wet.
Nectar couldn't help but laugh as she watched a soaked Liam get back on his feet. His clothes were soaked and his ash hair was in his face " Really, you're still doing this "? Nectar shrugged playfully and used her other whip, wrapping it around his legs, flinging him in the air.
Then she made a water bubble which he fell back into and was stuck in it for about 5 seconds. She let him out with a broad smirk on her face " That's for throwing me in the bath this morning ".
Liam got up again laughing, he used his wind powers to mostly dry off and ran towards Nectar, leaping into the air he threw the staff at her which encased her in a storm cloud.
Though there weren't any lightning bolts in it, it was still powerful enough to make Nectar feel like she was a human blender. She felt between sick and happy, it reminded her of amusement park rides in her second life but then again, she didn't want her breakfast coming back up.
Liam lazily rested on another staff he'd made as he watched Nectar get spun in the cloud " Do you yield Qidu, it's not to late to back out ". Nectar shook her head, shouting back at him " Never, I still need to give you..."
As she spoke, the cloud was suddenly filled with a faint blue light till it was bright enough to shine through. A sprout of water exploded out of it taking Nectar with it.
Her and the water behind her landed on Liam, pinning him down beneath her and soaking them both. She didn't give him time to react as she took his shirt and made a fist to punch him and smiled " Give you a very thorough bashing ".
Though they were both panting from their fighting session, they were both still laughing and something suddenly caught their attention.
Still maintaining their position on the floor, they both turned their heads towards four surprised pairs of red eyes thinking the same thing [ Crap! ]

Reli had talked with her brothers for so long, she didn't realize it was almost noon till Cookie came looking for her. Then she took them to her palace but instead of an indoor feast, it was an outdoor brunch.
It was still fun though eating with them again and Cookie sitting next to her. Munching on some bread, Cookie spoke up " Are we gonna visit the empress later? So I can wear my running shoes ".
Reli laughed as she picked an orange slice " Definitely, I have to introduce these brothers of mine to her ". Nosa chocked on the tea he was drinking " The empress, I'm not meeting her "!
Reli and Cookie rolled their eyes at Nosa's reaction " Are you really scared to meet the empress? I mean you've killed countless people and you're not scared of ghosts ".
Nosa glared at her " Its not the same. Royals are scary on their own but a Royal woman, an empress for that matter, she must be more than terrifying ". Reli rubbed her chin " Is she? Sometimes I forget she's the empress ".
Arron spoke up, looking at Cookie " What do you think 058 "? Cookie opened her mouth to speak but Reli interrupted her " She isn't called that anymore Big brother, she has a name now "?
William who had been quiet this whole time suddenly spewed the water he was drinking on Nosa who was opposite him at the circular table," What do you mean name? Its a punishable offence to name a servant without the castle's permission ".
Nosa cleaned his face with a towel " Still doing stupid stuff I see. How dumb can you get "? Reli rolled her eyes as she pulled his ear " I didn't name her, Nectar did ". William began to pale " She's gone mad, you don't just call the empress by her name Reli ".
She nodded and let go of Nosa's ear " Your right, I mean Sister Nectar ". William collapsed unto the table " She's gone insane. How cruel the world is "?
Arron could only rub his temples at his siblings immature behavior, again he looked at Cookie " What do you think of Reli's relationship with the empress "?
Cookie smiled slightly " I had the honour of meeting her yesterday Lord Arron, the empress seems to be quite easy going and friendly. But I can guarantee the fact that she is entertaining ".
Reli nodded, hugging Cookie's neck " I knew you two would get along and she even gave her an awesome name too ". Arron looked at his excited sister and sighed " What name did she give her "?
Reli cleared her throat and raised her hands at Cookie " Formally known as 058 is from now on to be called Cookie by her majesty's orders ". Cookie turned red at the sudden attention but Reli wasn't done with them yet.
