Dimitri laughed as he removed Nova's hand from the door, " Someone woke up on the wrong side of the bed today ". Nova looked at his hand which was on top of hers and sighed, " It seems your tired of the hand ".
Dimitri shrugged and took his hand back. Nova removed her hand as well and saw the ice underneath, " I hate this trip ". Dimitri smiled, " I'm sure your sister feels the same way ". Nova frowned and glared at him, " Must everything be related to her ".
Dimitri shrugged lightly, " I usually enjoy seeing you in a bad mood but honestly, you're just being whiny ". Nova smirked slightly to herself, " That's the difference between Nectar and I....she's strong ". Dimitri nodded and Nova giggled to herself as she snapped an icicle she'd made, " All the more reason I want to break her ".

Kancor ran his hand over his face, resting his palm on his mouth and hiding his frustrated smile underneath [ This isn't gonna be fun ] Christopher had been more than happy to share his books and journals on the planets but he found the moon the most intriguing.
[ I feel like some sort of galactic babysitter ] he ran his hand back to his neck and sighed, mumbling to himself " I'll have to talk to Nectar though ". And then there was that strange voice and that picture too.
Kancor groaned in frustration as he ran his hands through his hair, [ I haven't even gotten over this whole rebirth thing ] but shrugged all the same as he settled back into his seat and opened the next book.
Caroline who was sitting across from him, was stuck between fear and confusion. She would have already concluded that the man in front of her was an imposter but that was impossible. [ Now that I think about it, he's supposed to be dead ]
She glanced at Kancor who was calmly reading a book now and sighed internally. She remembered the time he'd gotten ill back in Sepafi, he was a smart and excellent bookworm.
In fact, since they were kids she always found him in the library or surrounded by books. He was a lot skinnier and paler than the other kids she saw when they came visiting. Then she discovered that he had a weak body.
[ When did I even hate him so much? ] At first, they played with each other since they're elder siblings were meeting each other. He didn't speak much but Caroline found she simply disliked him at some point.
Maybe cause he wasn't loud and strong like her father or brother or his best friend but there was nothing Kancor could do to appease her and even after three years of marriage, it seemed he'd finally give up on her.
Again she glanced at him and bit her lower lip, [ I don't deserve him anyway ] Kancor suddenly looked up at her with a raised eyebrow, " You keep staring at me, what do you want "? Caroline felt herself jump from the sudden communication but smiled slightly.
" Nothing, I was just curious about what you were reading ". Kancor raised an eyebrow in obvious disbelief and closed the book in his lap, " It's none of your business and I hope you stay out of my business on this trip ".
Caroline clenched her fists but nodded solemnly, " You have my word ". She looked out the window again and smiled to herself [ I deserve every single bit of it ]
