Rebirth of A heartless empress

     " What are we doing Ica "? Archie whispered as he looked at Jewlica. She laughed quietly, " I'm not sure, but it's fun ". Archie face palmed himself, " Aunt Caitlin will be looking for me and I'm sure Fauna's doing the same  ".


     Jewlica rolled her eyes, " Then lets find them ". He was dragged along by her as they walked, " This place is pretty Archie. What does your palace look like "? He smiled slightly, " Its dark and dreary with a lava lake surrounding it ". 


     She giggled, " Is that good or bad "? Archie nodded, " It's good ". Jewlica nodded, " Then what about your mother "? They were walking hand in hand now, " What about her "? Jewlica looked at him curiously, " It might be a paradise for demons. No offense ". 


    He nodded, " None taken " and she waved out her hand, " But in a place where nature can't thrive well enough, what do you think happens to an elf "? He tilted his head to the side, " I never thought about it, but mother does seem a lot more energetic here ".


     Jewlica flicked his forehead, " And you're a crown prince. How are you gonna rule an entire kingdom if you can't even take care of your mother "? He pouted slightly, " I know you're right but that still hurt ". She patted his head with a toothy grin, " Call it getting some sense knocked into you. Liam does it for Sister Qidu all time ".


     He smiled mischievously as he tried to flick her back. She dodged it and let go of him. She stuck out her tongue as she ran, " You're very predictable Archie ". He ran after her none the less, " Better hope I don't catch you ". 


    Jewlica ended up bumping into someone and fell on the floor. Archie helped her up and she looked up at the annoyed looking old woman. She rubbed her dress and looked up at her, " I'm sorry, didn't mean to bump into you ". 


    She looked at Archie who was quiet and saw he  was looking at his feet, " Grandma ". Jewlica looked back up at her and they stared at each other, " So this girl's the reason you changed? Look at you running all over the place, nothing like the crown prince I raised you to be ". 


    Jewlica frowned as she suddenly stood in front of Archie, arms spread out as if protecting him " This girl is called Jewlica and he's a better crown prince than you think ". Archie put his hand on her shoulder, already on the verge of tears, " It's okay Ica ". 


      Jewlica frowned even more, pointing at Anala " No. I don't care who or what you are. You can't make Archie cry for simply acting his age ". The little girl was already beginning to attract people's attention. 


       Not knowing what else to do, she lost her temper and raised her hand to slap the little brat. Archie reacted as well and tried to shield her. When the slap never came, they looked up.


      " I wouldn't do that if i were you ". Fauna had a deep frown on her face as Anala swatted her hand away, " And who are you supposed to be "? Fauna glared at her slightly, " Level one servant of the Lishflourian empress, Nectar Socta and care taker of the little girl you nearly hit ". 


     Anala glanced at Jewlica who was holding Archie's hand tightly [ This little brat ] " Surely the empress wouldn't mind me disciplining the child for her ". Fauna suddenly held Jewlica's hand, " Speaking on my empress's behalf, I would ". 


      Fauna dragged Jewlica who in turn took Archie with her. He seemed hesitant but she pulled him anyway, " Do you really want me to leave you behind "? Anala smiled slightly, silently seething with rage [ The younger generation has gotten bolder ] " Have to teach them a few manners ".
