Chapter 180 : No ladylike talents.
" I didn't know you had anything planned Qidu ". Nectar groaned in frustration as she threw her head back, " That's because I didn't ". She suddenly pulled at his shirt, " Think of something Millie ".
He sighed as he held her hand in place, " That's gonna be hard. You don't have any ladylike talents ". Nectar frowned, pulling his shirt down making them make eye contact " What's that supposed to mean "?
He laughed nervously, trying to calm her down " You're an amazing fighter and your sword skills are top notch. I'm just saying you wouldn't call those skills ladylike ". She relaxed and nodded, " You're right. I am amazing ".
Liam took a breath of relief as he nodded [ I didn't say that ] " Of course you are Qidu ". She suddenly shook her head, her hair going in all directions " But I don't have anything to do. It's not that I care but I refuse to give those snubs a reason to mock me ".
Liam sighed, patting her head " I understand how you feel but you can't just do a sword dance or something ". She suddenly looked up at him and smiled [ I think I could ]" I have an idea, but I'll need a lot of help ".
Liam rubbed his nose anxiously, " And where are you hoping to get it from exactly "? She walked to the door with a smile and opened it, looking at Athena and Reli who had guilty and nervous expressions on their faces, " They just arrived ".

Jiro was the first to notice something was wrong with Athena. She bit on her lower lip slightly and wasn't talking, " Are you okay? You seem a little pale ". Athena wanted to shake her head but couldn't. She looked around then whispered in his ear.
" I lied ". He laughed, tapping the table " That's okay, everyone does. Though I'm a bit surprised that you seem to ". Athena suddenly frowned, " Really. Why "? He tilted his head to the side, smiling " Don't get me wrong. You have a reputation for being an extremely truthful person. Do you regret your lie "?
She shook her head and sighed, " No....I mean yes. I did it to help a friend stay out of trouble but instead I think I put her in trouble ". Jiro nodded slowly [ She's so cute ] " Well, you could help ".
He glanced at Nectar's empty chair smiled, " Plus, if you help the friend do the thing you lied about. Technically, it becomes a truth ". Athena couldn't help but giggle, " You're a lot more shrewd than I expected ".
Jiro couldn't help but laugh as he looked at her intently, " I'll take that as a compliment ". Athena shrugged, standing up " You can do whatever you want, but thank you for the advice ".
She smiled gently as she spoke, her calm demeanour back " I'll see if Sister Empress needs any help ". Reli suddenly got up, her left hand slammed against the table and right hand raised high " I'll come with you ".
Athena nodded and they both left the table. Alice couldn't help but bite her lower lip as she watched the two walk away [ What's that all about? Aren't they supposed to hate each other? ]

Melanie simply laughed nervously as she saw the two take off [ So they left me with six energetic kids who are exchanging words seamlessly with our continents nobility. I can't handle that sort of stress! ]

Immediately Nectar opened the door, they both went on their knees and startled her. She took a step back as she yelled in confusion, " What are you two doing "? Reli intertwined he hands, looking up at her pleadingly " We've caused you so much trouble ".
Athena nodded in agreement, " And we're extremely sorry for it ". Nectar sighed as she held out her hands to them, " You guys should really get up ". They looked at each other doubtfully and Nectar suddenly pulled them up.
She smiled as she held their hands, " If you're really sorry, you can help me with something ". Reli nodded, holding Nectar's hand tightly " Anything you want ". Nectar simply nodded with a smile [ She's got a really strong grip ]
