Chapter 7

ISABEL'S POV

"All right , love look into the camera." Rebekah says as she starts recording the doppleganger while i sit on a near by rock.

"What are you doing." Elena asks looking dumb and cofused.

"Shooting your picture to inspire your boyfriends. Why dont you tell them how delightful it is being stuck in a hole with your biggest fan?" I say looking at her with a devlish smirk. 

"I guess you think i had this coming huh after what I did to you." Elena says obviously trying to stay brave when the fear is evident in her eyes.

"You know I don't know what i want more to find out were saved or to find out it's all right to kill you." Rebekah says as she looks at Elena fuming.

"Rebekah control yourself." Ava says as she drops in walking towards us.

"What are you doing here?" I asked standing up worried that something went wrong.

"I thought you were supposed to be with Elijah." Rebekah says as we turn to face her worry lacing her voice.

"I am but he asked me to come here make sure the doppleganger is still breathing, and from what i've seen your having the time of your life with the pet." Ava says as she stands next to us.

"This isn't my fault. I wanted to get rid of Klaus at one point so did you. I didn't know that your mom was planning on killing all of you." Elena says interupting our conversation. Each of us looking at her with a raised eyebrow.

"Do you think i want to spend what could be the last few hours of my life having idle chit chat with a girl who literally stabbed me in the back? Of course not but for some reason everybody seems to want to bend over backwards to save your life which is incredibly annoying but makes you the perfect hostage." Rebekah says in Elenas face before Ava pulls her back by the arm away from her.

"So why don't you sit down and shut up before i ruin things by ripping your head off." Rebekah finishes as Elena backs away and sits down like a good little hostage.

"Isabel, Rebekah please behave wait for the order." Ava says before turning to Elena. "Elena shut up and sit the hell down and dont provoke anyone." Ava says as she speeds off to rejon Elijah leaving me and Rebekah alone with the doppleganger.

"Well she's very demanding and didn't even say please." Rebekah says in a snarky attitude.

"She's backing up Elijah she wants this to go smoothly they just got back together. and for what to just die. She's protecting us the same way she did whenever we needed her." I say back to Rebekah who just turns back around.

It's true whenever we needed Ava she was there. Ava and Elijah may have not always been together but she's always defended him and his morals. Coming to the rescue when we needed her. She is the crutch to our family never abandoning us always reminding us of our pact and loving us forver.

All of a sudden i saw rebekah fall and soon after i did as well. I bolted up as fast as i could still weak from the dagger. I couldnt mistake that pain.

"Isa she's not here." Rebekah says standing back up 

"Well lets go get her back Rebekah she's our only leverage." As we both begin running after Elena.

Ava's POV

Elijah and i had rushed to the grill after waking up in his arms seeing his skin desicated but slowly returning to normal. Rushing to the grill we saw Niklaus and the Salnatore brothers after making sure Isabel and Rebekah were ok and making sure the doppleganger was fine as well.

"Leave him." Elijah says as we stand at the top of the stairs his arm around my waist since i was still dizzy from the dagger.

"We still need him brother." I say regaining my strengths.

"What did mother do?" Nik asks us walking away from Damon.

"What did she do Elijah?" Isabel asks over the phone making sure were all ok. Nik reasurring her worries and hangs up.

"You tell me where the witches are or i'll have my sister kill Elena right now." Elijah says as we walk down the stairs.

"You told me we had until after 9. " Damon says looking all four of us.

"I'm sure Rebekah'd be more than happy to start her work early." I say looking at damon with devlish grin.

Isabel's Pov

"You can't hide, Elena!" Rebekah shouts both of us fuming.

"Not sure why i'm feeling under the wheather." I say as Rebekah finishes both of us closely behind her

"Must be your boys trying to find a loophole. Won't matter. I could chase you down on my worst day." Rebekah finishes as we both speed behind her. 

"Boo." Rebekah says as she holds Elena from behind. Then Elena head butts her and runs into a cave.

"You little bitch." Rebekah says Before trying to get in as well something stopping her. Istand next to her shoving my hand against the invisible border.

"What is this." I ask how badly i'm restraining against ripper her throat out.

"Sorry, no vampires aloud." Elena says feeling curagious always brave when she has something and someone between her and death.

Signs of a weak bitch.

Elena keeps flashing that stupid little light trying to see if either Rebelah or I are still there as she nearly passes the border i sing out to her from a dark corner.

"Elena." Stepping back we hear Rebekah come back with a tin of gasoline.

"Lets pick it up where we left off." Rebekah begins to throw the gas at Elena. I can't help but laugh.

"What are you doing?" Elena says looking back at me. "Ava told you to protect me she is older." Elena says terror laced in her voice.

"I have my orders yes but my darling sister said to make sure Rebekah doesnt kill you. She also told you not to provoke her and what did you do." I respond as i sit and watch Rebekah. I should have brought my toys I do love torture.

" I thought i'd shake things up a bit."Rebekah says pouring gas all over the place.

"Are you insane?" Elena asks.

"Watch it Elena." I threatened her.

"I prefer spontaneous. Thats probably why Damon likes me so much." Rebekah responds finally throwing the can at the back of the cave.

"Hers whats gonna happen. You're gonna come outside or your gonna stay in there and burn." Rebekah says as she lights the matches and throws two inside. Ok maybe I let this get out of hand but oh well its just a little fire.

"The next match is landing on you. So Elena how does it feel to know that these may be your last moments?" Rebekah asks. as the fire died out, sadly.

"I dont know you tell me. You're the one whose mother is trying to kill you." Elena says again with the provoking no wonder this girl always brings death to those around her.

"You should be very careful what you say to her." I say with warning i my voice along with anger.

"You're still wearing her necklace." Elena says looking at Rebekah.

"Do you want it? Is that your last request? Here. It's all yours." Rebekah says while ripping it off and throwing it at Elena. With sadness in her voice. Poor Bekah.

"She's not doing this because she hates you. She told me- She just doesn't have another choice" Elena says

"Spare us your pity Elena. Were not girlfriends you want me to prove it? Say the word." I say as Rebekah lights another match.

"Your not gonna do it." Elena says Gods shes stupid.

"And why is that?" Rebekah asks match still in her hand. While I watch closely. Ava would be angry if we screwed this up she's true to her word like Elijah but deadly like Mikeal.

"Because there's still a chance both pf you will be alive tomorrow and if thats the case and you kill me know. You'll have used up all your revenge wasted it. And isn't that what you want,  revenge. Because i pretended to like you and then i stuck a dagger in your back? I mean thats why you slept with Damon isn't it? Thats why you're tormenting me because I hurt your feelings." Elena finishes her rant Rebekah drops the burned out match to the ground

"The tough act doesn't suit you." I say standing up walking up to the border.

"I never said I was tough. We both know i'm right." Elena finishes looking at both of us. Pulling Rebekah to join me sitting after telling Elena to shut up and sit down before shes the one laying in that coffin.

Ava's Pov   

"They're coming mother." We hear Finn say.

"No, It's to soon. The moon is not high enough. Go Quickly." We hear ester as Elijah, Nik, Kol and I arrive the see the sacraficial lamb.

"My sons, daughter come forward." Ester says as we aproach closer.

"Stay beside me." Finn says. What a puss.

"It's ok, they can't enter. Isabel and Ava can." Ester say coming up to us

In a second Isabel lays on the ground asleep and soon i get pulled into the circle Finn breaking my neck and darkness takes over.

3rd Pov

As Ava and Isabel laid dead on the ground in the pentagram. Both brothers feeling imediate fear, worry for there wives.

"That's lovley were stuck out here. While the favorite son plays sacrificial lamb. How pathetic you are Finn." Kol says as he tries to see his sisters inside the pentagram.

"Be Quiet, Kol. Your brother knows virtue you cannot even imagine." Ester says looking at the three originals before her.

"Whatever you think of us, killing your own children would be an atrocity." Elijah says stepping forward to see his wife slowly coming back. but making no sudden movements trying to get closer to Isabel who is still dead taking longer to heal.

Ava's Pov

"My only regret is that i did not let you die a thousand years ago." I hear Ester say as i look up to see Isabel, still dead taking longer to heal than usual.

"Enough all this talk is boring me, end this now mother or i'll send you back to hell." Nik said his eye never leaving where Isabel laid next to me clutching her hand.

"For a thousand years, i've been forved to watch you. Felt the pain of every victim, suffered while you shed blood. I always thought Isabel would be your saving grace but she's just as ruthless as you. Her innocence gone you've turned her into the exact same monster as you." Ester said the pain and anger evident on Nik's face. "Even you Elijah with your claim to nobility. You're no better. I gave you a lovely wife and you repay her with your adultery. Pushing and pulling her back in when it was convenient for you. While her heart broke more and more, making her unleash it on innocent humans. All of you you're a curse on this Earth stretched out over generations if you've come to plead your life. I'm sorry you've wasted your time." Ester says as she looks at all of us with tears in her eyes. "I'm glad i bound that curse to both of you." Ester says as she kneels down between Isabel and I. Clutching her hand tighter.

"What curse." I asked Ester terror evident in my voice.

"The one to provreate my dear I didn't want you and Isabel to be cursed the same way I was so i bound it to Niklaus's curse." Ester esponds shock filling my face as a tried to sit up. Shocl and sadness on Nik and Elijah as well as i glanced at them. Before i can even ask any further questions the flames grew bigger forcing me to shield both Isabel and I

"Sisters, do not abondon me!" Ester yells out as the flames got bigger.Finn dragging her away as they died down Kol speeding to us helping me stand as Elijah came to me pulling me into a hug. Nik grabbing Isabel from Kol who picked her up from the ground.

" I need to tell Rebekah she can let Elena go." Elijah says as we pull apart.

"No, i'll go. I'll go home with Rebekah." I say needing to get away from Elijah to process what Ester told us.

"I'm ok Elijah I'll be fine help Nik get Isabel home i'll meet you there she hasn't feed since yesterday." I say looking at nik whose cradling his wife.

Kissing Elijah bye i head inside the cave where Rebekah and the doppleganger are.

"You can come out now. Seems your boyfriends took care of the problem." I say stepping next to Rebekah. Who looks at me with worried eyes.

"How did they do that?" Elena asks getting up.

"Damon turned your witch friend's mother into a vampire." I say leaning again Rebekah for support as the holds me not making it obvious to Elena that i'm weak.

"What?" Elena asks

"Quite clever actually. They needed to sever the witch line, and well you can't be a witch and a vampire in any case you're free to go. " I say as we begin to walk away when Rebekah turns around.

Oh and uh by the way you were right I do prefer taking my time watching you suffer much more satisfying." And with that we walk away and back home to the Mikealson mansion

"Where the bloody hell is everyone?" Rebekah asks as we walk in to only find Elijah. Without hesitation he takes me into his arms holding me tightly.

"It's over Rebekah." Elijah responds barly looking up to his sister playing with strands if my hair.

"Where's mother?" Rebekah asks

"We have no mother,only Ester. and Ester was right" I respond with sadness in my voice playing with Elijah's tie not wanting to look up.

"What do you mean?" Rebekah asks

"All my talk of virtue, when it suits my needs, I kill, maim, and torment." Elijah says putting his hand under my chin pulling my face to look at his. "Even today i terrorized and innocent."

"Elena is hardly innocent." Rebekah responds with gritted teeth.

"And i used your hatred of her to get what i wanted weilded you like I would a sword, my sisters my wife." Elijah says as he walks us closer to Rebekah.

"You did it to protect us, Elijah and rightly so." Rebekah and i both say looking at him with tears in our eyes.

"We deserve to live." I say cupping his face with my hands.

"We are better than they are." Rebekah finishes

"Oh, mother made us vampires. She didn't make us monsters. We did that ourselves." Elijah says before pulling both of us out of the room to our bedroom.

"Elijah, do not feel guilty. You did not use us we helped you for the better of this family." I respond once we enter the room.

"I keep my word to everyone but you and for that i am sorry. Please forgive me." Elijah says with tears coming down his face.

"I've forgiven you Elijah. You are noble. You have kept you word to me." I say holding his face in my fands looking at eachother.

"Aren't you worried?" Elijah asks

"Worried about what love." I ask in complete comusion.

"I heard what Ester told you Niklaus has broken his curse." Elijah responds

"No because if anything did happen we'd be together. Also if it's true then how come Isabel and I are still fine and we've been busy." I respond as we both chuckle through our tears.

We soon get ready for bed and lay there together in eachothers arms. Letting the world disapeer for one night its just Elijah and I.
