Consequences?... Meh.

Killing Watto wasn't something glorious, it was rather anti climactic to tell the truth. All it took was a powerful enough zap of force lightning for him to die.

The boy just froze, his master, lay dead on the floor and all he could do was stare. To him his master signified his and his mother's shackles, the fact that said shackles lay dead on the floor, short circuited his mind. Thexan snapped him out of it by asking if Watto had control module for controlling his slaves. The boy quietly lead Thexan to a safe stuck in a wall.

Making easy work of the reinforced safe Thexan asked the boy his name.

ANAKIN: "My name is Anakin Skywalker sir"

THEXAN: "nice to meet you Anakin, I'm Thexan Tyrall."

After a pause Thexan asked if Anakin wanted to be free. Anakin fearfully stuttered a yes, having none of that weakness Thexan asked again with more power. "DO YOU WANT TO BE FREE". "YES, I WANT TO BE FREE". Realizing his outburst Anakin quickly shuffled backwards fearing the worst. "Heh, now thats more like it, here take the tablet, free yourself. Take charge of your own life." Thexan gave Anakin the means to free himself. Leaving Anakin to fiddle with his proverbial diddle, Thexan headed off to collect the parts he needed to fix the ship.

Collecting everything together and finding Anakin thoroughly pleased with his freedom, they headed out towards the ship. Unfortunately this was not to be as a massive sandstorm decided that right then and there it would appear. With no other choice Anakin lead Thexan to his home so they could wait out the storm.

The hospitality shown by the Skywalkers was heartwarming to Thexan, and the more time he spent with Anakin the more he saw his own brother Arcann in him. Too much love, but with all that love came an equal capacity for hate. Just like Arcann. Thexan shed a tear at the thought. Anakin had already been freed from one master, a revelation that caused Shmi to faint, Thexan vowed the dream he saw would not be made reality.

Morning came, and all the inhabitants of the little house were packed and ready to leave. Leaving Mos Espa was rather easy, however Thexan sensed a dark presence heading for him. Luckily it was still far enough off for the little group to arrive at the ship. Introducing Anakin and his mother as slaves that he freed, instantly garnered him favor with the Queen and her handmaidens. The Jedi while somewhat incensed, couldn't deny that Thexan had done a good thing. Leaving the crew to fix the ship, Thexan waited outside for the stranger to appear.

Little did the stranger know, he was not dealing with a Jedi.
