Lavern dips her fries in ketchup and takes a bite. Kassie takes a big bite of her burger. She grabs a napkin and starts wipe her hands. Kassie writes notes and letter for no reason on the napkin and folds it. "You still do that?" Lavern says. Kassie stops and looks at Lavern with a bold eye "yes I still do this…what about it?" Kassie replies. She still continues to fold it even more to make the edges pointy and sharp.

When kassie was little, they use to go out to eat some times and every-time napkins are at the table or brought to them. Kassie use to write inside and fold them into little triangles and make the edges so sharp. That if someone comes her way she can poke them with it. And she will drop it on the floor, so when people picked it up. They will have a funny or secret message. Lavern use to fall for Kassies triangle weapons but Lavern always collected them and make them out of paper dolls.

Lavern couldn't hold back her laugh and blows it out. Kassie stops folding and launches fo grab Laverne fries and eats it in front of her. "My McFries!!——" Lavern yells. Kassie laughs her butt off fully. Lavern sits up and points at kassie while she is in tears. "That's not funny!" Lavern says. "You to my mcfries and I want them back" she yaps. Lavern was always picky with her food. Even half of something is still there. She would cry about it, nonstop. Kassie sits up also "what do you think Dennis and Elis are gonna do with the demos?" She says. "We have to see cause you wrote the song. You have to find out about the instruments, the chorus, everything" says Lavern.

Before they went to McDonald's, they where at ACU PRODUCTIONS doing demos for the lyrics kassie wrote called "What Will it be?" about a girl that was cheated on and telling the guy he didn't deserve her golden bright heart. After she was done doing the song, she clears everything up and listens. Everything was good and they walk out and left.

It's there first time making a song. They don't know what's up to them yet. It was already late, 5 hours back to Sacramento, and there time in the hotel out there was already up. So they camp out in Los Angeles at a hotel they crashed in. For some reason Lavern knew the traffic at ten O'clock at night. Very busy. Kassie grabs her bags and heads to the room downstairs, beds for two. They open the door, with cold breeze air. Lavern sets her stuff down on the side of the bed. kassie lays down already tired and couldn't wait to start the bright day tomorrow.

November 10th, 1985

Kassie and Lavern got up early and hit the road to the recording studio. As they almost park inside, they see a huge line at the end of the street. "Woah" says Kassie in her head. The line was going Inside the door of ACU PRODUCTIONS. They parked far away from the building and they had to walk two blocks to get there. As they walk in kassie goes up to the front desk while Lavern looks at the line up front. "Hey uh.." Kassie puts her hand up from her own face, she looks for the woman's name tag on the side of the desk. "Linda" "what is with the line Linda ..I mean what is happening" she whispers.

"Elis and Dennis put out flyers to audition back up vocals for your song…there all here just for it." Linda says.

"John" the other side of the front desk comes up to Linda.

"This is gonna be one crazy ride" he says.

He puts the papers beside Linda and goes back to copying other things that where okay like "work"

Dennis comes from the hallway and sees the two. "Lord lads come on!,come in!" Dennis yells. Kassie and Lavern run inside the control room. They come in and out the jackets on the side and drop their purses. "Hey kassie!" Says elis. She gets up and kassie runs in hugs her deeply. Like always kassie gives the warmth hugs in the world. Makes everyone happy.

Dennis sits down. "Now how do you want the beat?" He says.

He points at the controls and kassie had no idea how to explain the beat to him. But she already got the first half of the beat which was the chorus singing and doing the vocals in the back. Kassie puts her hands up to demonstrate. "It will go "bing——Bing——Bing—-bidi-Bing"

"Okay let's see how that pulls."

Dennis turns around and puts the piece kassie said together. It went perfectly how she planned it. Kassie jumps up with joy and it went as planned. A knock on the door appears, elis turns around and opens it being John. "What do you need?"

"It's already time I'm gonna let people in to test for the chorus."

He walks away. Elis closes the door. She runs to Dennis and whispers. "It's time make sure some of the stuff is ready." Kassie and Lavern heard the whispering but never talked about it until a few years later. Kassie goes by the wall and leans on it waiting for the people to come in and do the audition. Lavern stands by Dennis.

A few moments later people where entering the room and out like a ants looking for food in a hurry. Some people where good, some people where okay, some of them where wild with vocals. And others weren't. It was Nine o'clock at night. for the Line still being so long, It was the last people since others went home from standing in the cold for so long. And some where tired of waiting. It was a "group of 5" women in there 20 and almost 30s. Walking in with a greeting smile. "Hello darlin." One of the woman said. "We are here to audition for Kassies backup chorus for her song" . Kassie had a smile. She was already loving there energy. Elis showed them the "live room" and closed the door behind making sure all the subs was locked in. Dennis moves closer to the microphone. "Okay girls can you sing the chorus part for me?" They nodded. And they sung the part. There voice was smooth, and relaxing. Like they sung at the church chorus. Feeling the heat. They all smiled hearing there vocals rise like no other. Elis looks threw there Headshots and Resumes while they sing. But Dennis, kassie and Lavern felt like they picked there match.

After they where done. Dennis got up and let them out. Kassie came up to the group. "You all where so great! Your guys voices are relaxing!"

The girl in the middle lifts her hand up. "Thank you kassie, you have a such beautiful voice too." The group smiled and walked out of the control room to the hallways of the building. "Come back tomorrow you Five!" Kassie yells. She runs back in towards Dennis and Elis. Putting her hands on one the controls. "I wanna hire those five." She says. Dennis and Elis look at kassie, Kassies attitude seem serious from when she acts like all the time, it was a little different. "Kassie" Elis says "there are also people that took there time to come down here and sing beautifully too…we can't just hire them."

Kassie didn't give one crap about that, "those 5 girls" matched the beat to the music. The sound and the rhythm. Those 5 where the ones.

The day was over for kassie and Lavern. They picked up a few magazines and left to there hotel room. Kassie took the "Headshots and Resumes" of the group of 5 so she can look at there records. Kassie really wanted those 5 to join the band so much that she will sell her car to the dealers. They make it to the hotel. Lavern and kassie go to there room downstairs, they put there stuff on the table. And kassie still looks at the "Headshots and Resumes". As kassie reads she finds out there all sisters in a group of 5. There church singers. She was amazed about there vocals. There was no crime records all 5 where clean. She couldn't wait for tomorrow.

Kassie puts them on the table and looks at the newspaper. Seeing that the ACU PRODUCTIONS was right inside the magazine headlining "the line of music" kassie smiles and laughs while Lavern climbs into bed.

"Kassie.." Lavern says

"Yea Lavern"

"Did you ever look for a house in Sacramento?"

"No not yet but I'm almost getting there we have the money for it,"

Lavern sighs and turns around, starts to go to sleep. Lavern turns off the lamp beside her and starts to sleep closing her eyes.

NOVEMBER 11TH, 1985

They wake up, very late. "Shoot!" Kassie yells. They run to the car with the "Headshots and Resumes" and the bags. Rushed to the studio before they where REALLY late. as they got there as quick as they can. they open the control room door and behind that door was "the group of 5". kassie gasp so loud that dennis, Elis and lavern heard her. kassie goes up to the 5 and gives them big hugs of warmth. lavern goes up to Elis "how?" she says. "how what?" "how did you bring them---but what you said yesterday-" Elis cuts off lavern. "I know what kassie said and she was right. they match the tune of the song, and kassie wanted them anyways" Elis replies. she turns around and starts messing with the controls. lavern smiles and goes up to the "group of 5" to greet them on the team. "welcome you guys have to sign some papers to join our team and we will be set!" lavern says. "oh we already did that all 5 of us did" the 5th one says. as the resumes says for there name and age they go by line of "a year apart". Leah she is 20 is the1st one, Dorthey is the 2nd one and is 21, big Marth is 23, the 3rd one. Alice is 25, the 4th. Christena is 29, the 5th. as they all stand in greeting. dennis walks up with lyrics on the paper. "okay...lets get creating that song." he says. big Marth grabs the paper and the "group of 5" go into the "live room" dennis messes with the controls and few seconds later he puts a thumbs up letting them know that he is recording. once again the "group of 5" sing there heart out.
