Daydream

Aiden had been delusional since Primo asked him if he is somewhat okay with a three-way relationship. That could mean that Primo and Daime would share Aiden in every way possible, including sex.

Cassie is looking at him with her observant eyes but she cannot comprehend what he is thinking. She concludes that Aiden looks either happy or he is thinking of something.

Whatever it is, Cassie would want to find out about it. She has a solution but that solution would recommend her to ask Drax, one of Primo's cousins. And she doesn't want to do that.

Never.

Cassie sighs as she watches Aiden while writing notes down since Aiden cannot write on his own. He would stop writing and look out into the bewilderness of their school gymnasium.

"I don't know what is wrong with you, but you are creeping me out."

She clicks her tongue and looks away from Aiden as she finishes everything she needs to write. Her arm and her wrist were starting to inflame when a voice calls from her side.

"Want me to help you?"

Soft, baritone voice, Cassie turns around and sees Daime with a smile on his face. Girls all over the gymnasium start to squeal like dying pigs when they see Daime walking towards Cassie's direction.

"Sure."

Cassie nods at him and gives him the pen and the notebook. Daime grabs them enthusiastically as he sits down beside Cassie. He starts to write the notes down with orderly fashion.

"Here they are."

Cassie looks at him and his handwriting. Lines are smooth and perfect, and the notes look neat. He has the same handwriting as a woman.

It is beautifully crafted.

"W-Wow…"

Cassie is amaze at how beautiful Daime's handwriting is. She didn't know that someone could have such a calligraphic hand like Daime.

As if on cue, Daime speaks up to Cassie, catching her off guard.

"Primo's handwriting is much better than mine. If you could remember the letterings on the tarp outside of the university, that's Primo's handwriting."

Cassie gasps as he remembers how they pulled up that tarp and how everyone was amazed on how beautiful it is written. She didn't expects that Primo is the one who wrote that.

"Yeah."

A short reply came from Daime as he tries to write as fast as he can before the boys would call him to play. Minutes later, one of the basketball players called out Daime.

"Daime! Stop courting girls! Leave us some, please! Let's just play!"

He clicks his tongue and stops on writing the notes. He looks at them and sighs heavily. He gives Cassie the notes and smiles at her before walking towards the boys and starts to play.

One of the girls who have seen how Daime smiles at Cassie got mad and went up to Cassie's direction. She wants to ask Cassie of what is her relationship with Daime.

"Who is she? I want to know."

She walks straight and passes by the basketball boys. Daime follows her every movement before alarming Drax who just enters the gymnasium. Drax tilts his head and follows the direction Daime is pointing at.

Drax sees the girl interrogating Cassie while the latter is trying to calm her nerves down before she could punch the lady who is disturbing their peaceful ordeal.

"Just tell me already, you damn bitch!"

Aiden heard this and catches the lady's arm before it landed to Cassie's face. She turns to see Aiden with a sickening smirk on his face. One wrong move and she is dead.

"Listen here, you wrench. Mind your own goddamn business before I push you down the stairs and die."

She knows that but when she is trying to withdraw her hand, Aiden grips it as hard as he can. She yelps in pain and tries to overreact but she is not fooling anyone.

"Drop the act, missy. You're not fooling anyone with that horrible acting of yours."

Daime clicks his tongue and drops the ball before climbing up the stairs that serves as chairs for spectators whenever they have a game in the gymnasium.

"Daime! Dude, where are you going?!"

Daime puts his hand on Aiden's shoulder. Aiden looks over and smiles at him before dropping the lady's hand harshly; flailing it downward like a broken branch from a tree.

"Hey, babe. What's going on?"

Babe.

Cassie widens her eyes and stares at Daime while Aiden only snuggles to his chest. Daime looks at the woman before scoffing at her. He hates these types of women the most.

Ignorant and selfish.

She had the same attitude as their grandmother whenever she wants something and she is not getting it. It pisses him off.

Somewhat similar on that bitch that rejected Drax before knowing who he is.

"Screw away. You disgust me."

They were not compliments and this is the first time that Cassie had seen the latter mad. She knows that she is not the reason why he is mad at the woman. She looks at Aiden, who is smiling devilishly.

Aiden looks at her and smiles. It was sweet not like the one that he gave to the lady earlier. It is as if Aiden is leaving a double life that Cassie is just starting to see.

She could only roll her eyes, knowing what Aiden is up to. She knows that trouble is just right around the corner and she needs to warn Aiden before it could collide at that trouble.

But upon seeing what is happening in front of her, she knows that Aiden will still be alive even after that trouble is done.

Whatever it is, Cassie knows to herself that Aiden is harmless. As harmless as a young calf. She sighs and taps Aiden's shoulder before giving the notebook to him.

"Study well; we have a quiz in Pharmacology tomorrow."

The woman from earlier, desperately tries not to stumble upon the stairs of the gymnasium as she runs out of the university gym in humiliation.
