The center of attention.

I go downstairs and am ready to take a shower because I have to go to school today. Aunt Lisa looks at me with worries while preparing the dining table, she approaches me and raises her eyebrows.

"Are you sure that you're going to go to school in that condition, Aze? Why don't you rest just for today? I can tell your homeroom teacher about what happened last night and she will understand about your condition."

I look at her and shake my head.

"No, it's okay, I can't keep leaving school and I want to keep my grade high so I can enroll in the university I want."

Aunt Lisa is smiling while gently touching the bruises on my face.

"Okay, but don't force yourself too much. I hate it when I see you like this, Aze, so please don't do anything that can harm you from now on. Also, please be careful, yeah?"

I smile and nod.

"Yes, Auntie."

Aunt Lisa smiles and goes back to prepare the table, then Uncle Hiro comes out from the bathroom while wiping his hair with a towel.
