Stats and Paradise
Yami explained to them what "Paradise" was and told them his plan for them:
As he said, he wanted them to be the first "subjects" of this world. Yami wanted to build a real civilization in Paradise and the first step in this project was the people who would live here. There were only different kinds of demi-human kids in front of him but they would actually make good first subjects.
Demi-humans are superior to normal humans in things such as strength. Futhermore, as kids whom he saved from slavery they should be grateful to him and would most likely be very loyal to him in the future. They were still young so they could be influenced pretty easily.
(If they are the same as Raphtaila and the growth of these demi-human kids works the same as in "Rising of the Shield Hero", then they can mature very quickly in given circumstances. Hmm, maybe I can even speed it up if they are inside my soul-world? Meh, I probably don't have enough power to be able to do such a thing, yet.)
First he built housings for them and then gave them necessities so that they could live happily for the meantime but Yami also told them that they will also have to work once they are ready.
Yami wanted them to build the civilization on their own, or rather, he would give them all the resources but he wanted the world to be self-sustaining.
(Well, I will just help them and look at how this project will develop. Almost all of them are already teenagers and some are already old enough to work but at the moment labour will just be on a voluntary basis. If I "save" them just to use them to work it will be just like slavery and my plans will immideatly go down the drain.)
He had already made a warehouse with things such as crops, tools and resources such as wood.
Yami wouldn't treat "his" people badly and he already liked these demi-human kids. One of the reasons might be that most of them were girls, what else to expect if they should be sold in an auction, and they were freaking adorable with their tails and ears. There was a big variety of different kinds of demi-humans, there were cat, dog, fox, wolf, rabbit and raccoon ears and tails. And Yami loved every kind of it! Fox-tails were fluffy and cat ears were cute!

"Right, I have also got a lot of points for the quest and because God seemed to have enjoyed my killing-spree show…"
Because he needed to get back to the Anteiku and also because he was drained after killing all those ghouls and creating all those things inside his soul-world he decided to leave the demi-humans alone for a bit of time.
"I think after all that happened today you would probably like some time alone so I will be taking my leave."
The kids said their goodbyes with grateful eyes as they saw their saviour disappear.

Yami thought while walking back to the cafe.

Yami just nodded and decided not to think too much about this stuff. He would check on them the next night.
It was already pretty late when Yami arrived back at the Anteiku, thankfully Yoshimura had given him a key. Without making much sound Yami went to his own room and sat down on his bed.
"Can you show me how many Points I have?"

"There are a few things to discuss. Eve, did anything change in the shop?"
{Yes, but the Tokyo-Ghoul shop doesn't really have much that could interest or help you. You have also completed the requirements to open the bigger shop, however you don't have enough Points to really buy much there.}
"Okay thanks, I will look at it later. Before I open my status another question, is there anything special with the different types of Kagune that I devoured and absorbed on the auction?"

"Hmm? I would very much like to hear your helpful opinion."
{I would be glad to, my dear. You indeed got the other types, Koukaku, Rinkaku and Bikaku. However, different from the Ukaku which was puraded because it was absorbed into your "wings" they aren't very useful. To be honest, they are very weak. If you absorbed a strong user maybe it would have had a better effect but your enemies weren't really powerful. Since there are a lot of different skills in this anime-verse, you should just focus on your wings and use the other Kagune if they are useful in the given situation.}
"Makes sense… Well, I don't need to think much about it. My level has finally risen, so I will be stronger but I will also need to face very strong enemies against whom things such as Kagune will be useless so I should indeed do as my faithful wife said and focus on my wings and other skills I will be able to get."

Yami began thinking about how to distribute his points. But there was something that bugged him with the numbers.
"I don't want to sound greedy or anything. But will I really be able to become strong if I only get 100 stat-points per 10 Levels?"

God wanted to make the numbers smaller to make things easier for himself because he isn't very good with math… The stat numbers are indeed not high, but that isn't actually the case, each of them is giving you a great boost in each field. Nothing changed except the numbers, but as I just learned, humans really love high values, even if they don't affect anything.}

"Okay, anyways. Eve, I would like to hear your opinion."

Because of your slime race and regeneration you can neglect your Defense for a bit, but you should also put some stats in it. Yami felt like a bucket of cold water had been splashed on him, after all he knew how difficult "Scenarios" in Omniscient Reader's Viewpoint were.
"Please continue."
{As I said, once you reach Level 10 a Scenario will start. Scenarios are similar to a Quest, you have an objective and have to achieve it. However, there is a difference, namely that you will be sent to the area of the Scenario, probably another planet or world. As the name suggests, you are going to be thrown into a kind of scenario and work it out. They are also longer than normal Quests. So I would suggest you prepare a bit before trying to get to Level 10.}

He thought about it for a short time but decided that he should postpone it for a bit, he was already tired and didn't need to think about it right now.
"Procrastination is a great thing, isn't it."
Because he knew that he could rest at his room better than in his Soul-World he decided to just sleep in the bed. He covered himself with a blanket and closed his eyes.
But as it is normal, he couldn't immediately sleep after all that happened today and began to think about one thing in particular once again.
"I really don't feel anything about killing huh? Why? Even after killing quite a lot of people only one day after my "first blood", there are no emotions… Are my other races also influencing this? I hope not since my new Ghoul race could become quite problematic. Or is it because of the "Lucifer" persona? I have read that sometimes the subconscious just rejects things because they are harmful to the mind, could that also be the case here? Do I not seem myself as guilty because I acted like someone else and my mind convinced itself that I was right because they were "evil"? There is no "good" or "evil" anyway…"
While rolling around on the bed Yami was trying to figure out his own thoughts and mindset.
"Or maybe I'm just overthinking and I'm just a sociopath who doesn't care about killing?"
He spoke to himself since he picked up that habit in the Void. Also, if he spoke to himself God sometimes showed reactions or maybe even sponsored some Points if he found Yami's thoughts interesting.
"Lying awake in bed and thinking about life… Right, I'm in puberty right now so it isn't even that strange. But I still need to sleep at some point in time."
Yami started to count sheep to distract himself and after a bit of time it took effect and he started to get sleepier. And at some point Yami fell asleep.

The next day was pretty uneventful. But while working in the cafe he heard some more rumors about "Lucifer". It appeared that what happened yesterday was already discovered and the rescued kids and their parents had gone onto TV and talked about what they knew.
Because he only killed a lot of "evil" Ghouls and even saved children from an auction he was seen as a good person and even admired. The kids now also seemed to revere him and only spoke of him in a good way. His Lucifer persona was a success! He even heard them describe him exactly like he wanted the person to be, a "Villain" who looks good and is a gentleman. This was the core of Lucifer's personality, however Yami already thought a lot more into this character. Also, he really liked to be the "bad-guy" because he could just do whatever he wanted.
"Yami, can you help me over here."
Yoshimura waved him over and thus distracted Yami. He immediately went over to Yoshimura and started making coffee again.
"Your coffee is getting better with each day, I'm very proud."
"Thanks for the praise but my goal is to make it taste as good as yours."
The old man just smiled at him, like a parent at a child who wanted to have the same job as the parent.
"Work hard then, you aren't very far off."
After giving his encouragement to Yami, Yoshimura went back to serving the customers. If they were currently free they would talk to each other, it was mostly Yami asking questions and getting answers. It was very helpful for Yami, as he wanted to understand this city and was able to learn a lot. He also didn't really know what exactly he should do at the moment so he had waited for more Quests but it seemed that God also wanted him to kick off a bit of fun on his own. He thought about it and asked a few more questions and got a satisfying answer. Now he knew a place that would most certainly be interesting...
Like that a few more hours went by and finally the last customer left.
"I will be going to my room to study a bit. Could I trouble you with all the paper stuff, please?"
"Of course, but you need a guardian, who are your parents?"
Yami put on an expression of melancholy.
"Could you register yourself as my guardian please? I'm pretty much an orphan, though I have something like a big sister figure who has taken care of me…"
As he looked at Yami's sad face he thought about his own child and sighed. He just nodded and let Yami go to his room. He wanted to be a good guardian, at least for Yami this time, after he had already "failed". He started to arrange everything that needed to be done.

Yami was back in his room, it wasn't really late already, but he wanted to go to Paradise and look at what happened on this one day.

"Hm? What do you mean?"
{What to say… God seemed to have sped up the world of Paradise a bit.}
Yami was stunned, he understood those words because he already thought of doing something like that but he didn't expect God to do that.
"So God has such a control over my Soul-World that I'm not even aware of him doing something like that?"
He was more serious now, because that would mean that God could do anything he wanted inside the Soul-World, meaning that even that place could be used to create something "interesting" and "entertaining".
Although God didn't appear to be someone who would just harm him, Yami was still very wary. There was a reason why tragedies were one of the most popular stage performances… He just didn't like the idea of God being able to do anything inside his own Soul.
{Don't worry husband, God himself has already told me to relieve you of such worries, he isn't interested in a broken person, you are already interesting enough and there is no need for you to lose something to have character-development… But he also told me that he didn't do anything to look through but is just having his fun playing psychologist. And the reason why he did something like that was exactly because you already had that idea and he liked it.}
"... … Okay. How much time?"
{Don't worry it is just one week, but the demi-humans growth rate was also increased, they are similar to you and will develop at a much higher rate. They will stop at their perfect state and there will also be enough cute ones to cuddle with so don't worry.}
Yami just accepted this information and was thankful for God to speed up a normally very long process.

Yami decided to just go to Paradise and look for himself instead of just talking with Eve. He summoned a Gate because it would make a better entrance than just appearing out of thin air.
As he walked out he was surprised. He still appeared in the garden of Paradise, but he could see something that he didn't expect that his plans would move so fast. There were houses and even smaller fields a bit in the distance.
"Look! It's Yami-sama!"
"Everybody, Yami-sama is back!"
He was quickly surrounded by a lot of fluffy ears and tails which swayed in obvious happiness. Yami couldn't hold himself back from stroking their heads. They had already grown up a bit, they could already easily do manual labour, but they were still cute as hell!
However, there was something that confused him; he was currently in his normal appearance, not in his Lufizer form. How come they knew for certain that it was him?
(Eve, please enlighten your husband.)
{Certainly, dear. Because your ability to change your form could lead to some problems God has given you something like a special aura from which you can be recognized. This also has the benefit that nobody can impersonate you. You can also disable it so that nobody can make a connection between Yami and Luzifer. At the moment I made it so that only those that are part of recognized by the system can notice your unique aura. Meaning everyone listed in "Affection" or "Lover". While talking with Eve, Yami had unconsciously started stroking the ears and tail of different demi-human girls and their affection started to rise just like the steam that came from their faces while they mumbled things like: "I can't get married anymore" or "You better take responsibility".
Now that he paid attention he of course heard those things but decided not to pay attention to them, if they got bigger and still wanted him to "take responsibility" he wouldn't mind it at all. He clapped his hands together to get everyone's attention.
"I have to say, you did great! For doing so much for paradise in the short time since you came here, I will reward you. Tell me if you have any wishes or anything else you want."
He wanted them to work diligently and what better way to motivate them than with rewarding them for good performance.
After he spoke those words all the fluff and fur gathered around Raphtalia who was their representative and started to brain-storm what they wanted. After a bit of discussion it seemed that they have agreed upon something.
"We would like to get more materials and books for knowledge. This world will be our home so it is in all our interest to make it prosper. Could you also give us books about different subjects so that we can study? Since we seem to grow faster we are now also able to work with more than just wood so can you give us more building-material so he can improve the housings we have built until now?"
Yami had to smile at their request. They were such good kids, he was really happy that he saved them.
"Even your request is something that makes me proud of you, I will give you what you asked for as well as some help in all your projects."
He used his energy to give them all kinds of resources that they could need and filled two more, just now constructed, warehouses. And he also wanted to try making something which would help him greatly in the building- and other processes; golems.
Making sentient creatures was something that was impossible for him, at least at the moment, however, he could make non-sentient beings. He needed to program them first, just like a roboter. However, for easy tasks such as transporting goods from one position to another, it was enough.
"These are golems, they will be a great help with all the straining tasks for which physical strength is needed. You just have to give them easy orders, but they can't do anything difficult. I have written down the exact commands you have to say on this paper. Raphtalia, you take it. I will be visiting the other residents of this world."
The demi-humans and especially Raphtalia had already met two of them, Mikasa and Esdeath. Mikasa was pretty normal and friendly to them, they talked a bit and she helped with the muscle-work because she was stronger than any one of them. Meanwhile Esdeath was very cold towards them at first, but once she heard that they were the first "subjects" of Yami she started telling them how great their King/Liege was. Several of the girls listened to her for a long time and they even started making something like a fan-club for Yami. She also made it clear that if he was the ruler of this world she was his empress. It should be mentioned that while Esdeath was of course the leader of it, Raphtalia was the person second to her in the hierarchy.
As he approached the ice-palace he was able to hear two voices talking to another. And as he walked in he saw Esdeath talking with Mikasa while sitting together at an ice-table. The ice wasn't really cold, it was better to say that it was comfortably cool.
"Both of you seem to be having an interesting talk."
With their superhuman senses they already knew of his arrival so they weren't at all surprised when he walked over to them.
"Nice that you came back after one whole week of leaving your wife alone."
Esdeath pouted her cheeks cutely while also creating a dangerous cold pressure and creating a floating ice-sword, which created a very strange contrast. One was her cute girl side and the other was the cold commander side both of them were aktive at the same time.
Mikasa didn't seem to mind his "long leave" and just nodded at him, however, the way she looked at him had changed a bit, her gaze was slightly more affectionate.
"Hai hai, I'm sorry. However, as my wife you shouldn't aim your weapon at your husband!"
Yami wasn't at all affected by her pressure, well just a bit but didn't let it show. He also knew that she had zero intention of actually harming him in any way, otherwise the collar would have already activated. He just went over to them and sat down next to Esdeath, he was really interested in the interaction between two Waifus.
"So, what didn you talk about?"
Mikasa was the one to answer. Meanwhile Esdeath was preoccupied with smelling Yami "secretly", either it was the female skill to smell whether her man was with another girl, or she just liked his scent, or maybe both.
"Well, it seemed that we both have a similar outlook on things, although we disagree on several things."
After Mikasa said that Esdeath continued.
"We both value power very much and because of our experiences we know the fate of the weak. However, she is still more sympathetic than me. Since we both were lone wolves and we both are now having something like a second life, we decided to try making "friends"."
(Both of them know the cruelty of the world first hand, Esdeath's whole family was killed and Mikasa had to see her comrades die on a daily basis. So it isn't very surprising for both of them to think of strength to be something very important. But Esdeath doesn't really value others' lives, she is a sadist after all, while Mikasa is still good at heart.)
He just nodded at them and made some tea-cups and cakes appear. They ate together and a bit of small-talk, the atmosphere was quite good and Yami could relax together with two Waifus.
After a bit Esdeath asked something which interested her since the start.
"So, what do you think about my way of thinking? Might makes right and the weak will suffer and perish."
