Chapter 1

I wake up to the sun peaking through my blinds in my room. Today is the day. The day I've been dreading for months. Today I go to Hogwarts.

I force myself out of bed, throw on my uniform Hogwarts had sent me and headed downstairs.

As I walk down the grand staircase I pass many unfamiliar faces. I get a chill down my spine as they passed by.

Once they pass, I am left alone in the empty entryway . I look around. This place never felt like home. Curtains covered the windows letting in very little light. The little light that did peak through exposed the dark wallpaper and artwork. Maybe getting to leave this dungeon for a bit wouldn't be so bad. It's not like there were many happy memories here. Guess that's what happens when your parents die.

My thoughts were interrupted my a poke at my leg. I look down and our house elf Rudley was there. "Master you should probably get going, you wouldn't want to miss the train"

"I'm going!" I said back but it came out a little harsher than I meant. Rudley was always kind and was my only friend as a kid so I felt kind of bad but I wasn't apologizing.

I grabbed my bags and headed to the train station.

*At the train station*

I board the train and look for a place to sit. I walk through the train carts looking in each box. This being sixth year, everyone had already made friends, so this year was going to be interesting, but I wasn't here to make friends. I find an empty area and sit down.

The train ride seemed to last a lifetime. Hour after hour I sat there staring out the window as the trees whipped by while I thought of what was going to happen when I got to Hogwarts.

"Boring isn't it" I hear a voice beside me say.

I look to my left and see a platinum blonde boy, in all an all black suit, standing there in the doorway. There was something familiar about him. He sat down across from me staring at me with his deep grey eyes as he leaned forwards towards me.

"I'm Malfoy..... Draco Malfoy" he says as he extends his hand towards me. "I'm Y/N Abram" I say, ignoring his hand. "Well than Abram, I'll see you around" he says as he walks away. 

I try not to think too much about my encounter with Malfoy and I grab some snacks and continue to stare out the window the rest of the ride.

Draco's POV

I head back to my seat after my encounter with Y/N. I couldn't help but feel like I had seen her somewhere before but I couldn't put my finger on it.

As I sat back down Pansy and Blaise were arguing over how many new members of Slytherin there would be this year and classes, I didn't care overly. Hogwarts was a useless school that I would never step foot into again if it was up to me. I sat down and thought about how painful my classes were going to be this year.

"So who's the new girl?" Blaise says nudging me with his arm, "A new girl for you to fuck Draco?" he says as he winks at me. "Piss off Zabini" I say as I turn to look at Pansy and she was glaring at me so hard I thought her eyes were going to tear through me.

I sat silently staring out the window the rest of the train ride not wanting to anger Pansy even more.

Y/N POV

The train finally comes to a stop and I can see the castle in the distance. I get up from my seat and head towards the door. As I step out of the train I bump into him,

I knew it was him the second I saw him,

The famous Harry Potter,

The chosen one.

It was pathetic that people even called him that.

Even though I had never been to Hogwarts I knew the story of Harry Potter, everyone had. The famous boy that lived.

We finally arrive at the castle and walk into the great hall. There's are hundreds of students sitting at tables. I look around and everyone seems to be staring at me and whispering but I couldn't care less. I head straight to the front to get sorted, I already knew I was going to be Slytherin.

Because of my last name being Abram, I was first.

"Y/N Abram" Professor Dumbledore calls out.

I step to the front and sit down. Before the hat even had a chance to rest on my head it screams out "SLYTHERIN!" ,as I suspected and everyone cheers and I go sit down.

"Psst Abram," I hear from down the table. I look down and sitting there is none other than Draco Malfoy, "Welcome to Slytherin," he says and winks at me. I roll my eyes at him and quickly look away hoping nobody saw.
