(W.O.T.A.F.)FOUR

(UNEDITED)

We returned back to the pack. Dad put them in section 3 which is not too far from the main house. I went home and took a shower. Dad is going to see them tomorrow and I will go a few days after with Kara. I got confirmation from one of the warriors that Sam, Cora, and Mrs. Andrews were here as well.

I felt relieved. I changed into my black jeans and a sweater. I put on my socks and went over to Kara's room which was beside me. I walked in and saw Nick holding a sleeping Kara. I smiled. He bowed slightly.

"Thank you, Nick, I'll take her," I said.

He nodded and gave Kara to me. For a two-year-old, she sure grows fast and is very smart. She stirred in her sleep and I saw her open her eyes.

"Aunt Lia?" She said.

I smiled. She can't say my name right yet.

"Hi. I have some news for you." I told her.

She rubbed her little eyes and focused on me.

"You remember that photo I gave you. Of your mummy and daddy and granny?" I asked her.

She nodded.

"And remember how I said that mummy and granny was taken by a mean witch and daddy went to go save them?" I asked her.

She nodded.

"Well, daddy saved mummy and granny. And he brought them home." I told her.

Her eyes lit up.

"Really?" She asked.

I nodded.

"Yes. And you get to see them soon okay. They need rest from getting away from the man witch." I told her.

She nodded.

"Okay. I want mummy and daddy to be good so I can see them." She said.

I nodded.

"Go back to sleep little one. I'll be here once you wake up." I told her.

Soon enough, she fell asleep. I slept next to her.

Three days passed by very quickly and I got Kara ready. She wore her favorite purple dress with her white coat. I helped her in her white stockings and strapped white flats. I put little clips of flowers in her hair that she got out. Nick stayed with her until I finished changing into my black skinny jeans, a baby blue crop top, and my leather jacket. I put on my black boots and had my hair down.

I took Kara with me and met with dad, Jackson, Micheal, and John. Nick followed us down to the cars.

"Ready?" Dad asked.

I nodded. We got into the car and drove off to section three. It was a 20-minute drive and Kara had fallen asleep again. We got to the gates and went to Sam and Cora's house. My nerves were getting the best of me. The car stopped and we were already at the house.

"Nick, please bring her in," I asked.

He nodded. I got out of the car and went to the house. I knocked on the door. A few moments went by and Sam opened it. His eyes widen.

"Hey, stranger." I smiled.

"Amelia." He said. I was instantly in his arms.

I hugged him back. Tightly. This is the man that has my best friend's heart.

"Sam, who's at the d- Amelia?"

I looked to see it was Mrs. Andrews. I smiled and broke off from Sam.

"Hi, Mrs. Andrews." I went to her and hugged her.

She hugged me tightly.

"Oh, look how beautiful and strong you've become." She said hugging me tightly.

We broke off.

"Where's Cora?" I asked.

"She's in the living room," Sam said.

I nodded. I walked towards the living room, my heart was feeling heavy. What if she doesn't remember me? What if she doesn't recognize me? But all those thoughts left when I saw her.

"Hey, Coral."

I haven't used her nickname in 2 years. She slowly turned around and saw me.

"Amelia."

She got up and I ran to her. I hugged her real tight. We both started crying in each other's arms.

"I thought I lost you." I cried into her shoulder.

"I thought I was never going to see you again." She cried.

We both continued into each other's arms until we pulled away. I wiped my tears.

"I have so much to tell you." She said.

"Same," I told her.

"When we were there, I was scared. If Sam ever tried to stop them, they would kill me." She cried.

I held her in my arms and cooed her as she cried.

"Shh. It's okay. Your safe now. Those people will NEVER come near you again." I reassured her.

She nodded.

"I have someone I'd like you to meet," I said.

She looked at me.

"NICK!" I yelled out.

She watched the door open and I watched as her eyes welled up with tears. She covered her mouth with her hand. Kara came beside me. I turned and saw Kara who looked shy.

"Kara, this is your mummy," I told her.

Kara looked at Cora.

"Mummy?" Kara said.

Cora busted out in tears and nodded. Cora opened her arms out and Kara walked into them. At first, Kara was hesitant but soon relaxed into her arms, getting familiar with Cora's scent. Cora hugged Kara as if she were to disappear again. Sam came up. Cora let's go of Kara.

"And this is Daddy. The one who saved Granny and Mummy from the mean witch." I said.

Sam and Cora looked at me weirdly. I gave them a look saying I'll explain later.

"Daddy," Kara said running into Sam's arms.

Sam happily let his baby into his arms. I smiled. I finally got Kara with her family.

. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .

We stayed for a while. I told Cora that I'd move them closer to where I stayed. Even though Kara got to see her parents, she has to get used to them. But it doesn't help the fact that they are all traumatized by the events that have happened to them. So we decided that Kara is better off with me for the time being until Cora, Sam, and Mrs. Andrews can get better, mentally.

We left their house and Kara was sleeping on Nick. I smiled. Nick has become really attached to Kara. Dad was with me. He stared at me.

"What's wrong dad?" I asked him.

"Your ready." He said.

I looked at him confused.

"Your ready to become alpha." He said.

"What?" I asked him.

"You have come so far in these two years. Without you knowing it, you took charge of the re-arrangement of the sections, border control, and even lead this mission. Your ready." He said.

I only nodded. My dad thinks I'm ready. If he thinks that, then I believe him. I just don't know if I can face other things that threaten my pack. But all I know is that I'm not backing away from the challenge.

"Your alpha ceremony will be held in 2 weeks' time," Dad said.

I nodded.
