Ashley is the daughter of Harley, a graduate student of the Island. She is a descendant of one of the best students, a grade A student just like their Grandmothers Lucia and Alicia.

Many years ago, Ashley fell in love with Matthew, when her mother was doing research on Lucia. Discovering the Ashemberts, she found Matthew pleasing in her eyes, because at that time she only met him, and not any of the other Golden Royals. Otherwise, Vincent or Lucius will be her target.

She abruptly sought him out at the Academy and confessed her feelings to him. She is the same age as Matthew, 25 years old. But being spoiled rotten since she was a child, she had never suffered a setback, and receiving him when she turned 15 was too much for her.
