Ever since Akira was born he had been a kid who would learn everything very easily. While his parents were happy about this it did trouble them that he would often just disappear. Luckily though this would usually be to the library. Where he would look at the pictures in the books. Eventually Aiko proposed to Daisuke to have a maid read him some books. These book's started of as typical kids books but soon became books which you wouldn't read to a kid who isn't even 2 years old yet.
One of the books the maid read to him was a book about the history of magic. In this book it explained how every country worships one of the 15 gods. Out of the 15 gods 7 of them represent the holy side of magic and 7 of the represent the demonic side of magic. The final god is the god is the most powerful of all gods and he rules over the rest of the gods. This same hierarchy is followed in the countries.
The countries are each named after their respective element.
The holy/demonic country of fire
The holy/demonic country of earth
The holy/demonic country of water
The holy/demonic country of wind
The holy/demonic country of lightning
The holy/demonic country of darkness
The holy/demonic country of light
Then there is the final country which is called god country. God country used to keep itself separated from the rest of the countries until a war started between the holy and demonic countries. God country managed to convince the countries to hold annual duals instead of wars.
Akira thought this was intriguing since this was very different to his previous life. After this Akira started to develop an interest in magic. This was when his parents told him he would have to wait until he was five as that was when the church would hold a ceremony to unlock a child's potential. This potential depended on the country you were born in. While it is possible for a child to be able to use the holy and demonic side of each element this was extremely rare. Most people would unlock the element of the country they resided in and 2 or 3 more, having 5 elements was already quite rare and the more elements the rarer it was. A thing unique to god country was that it was the only country were children could get both the demonic and holy side of elements.
With Akira's interest in magic he was bummed that he couldn't learn it yet. After about a year Daisuke proposed to give him a bit of martial arts training in the 3 remaining years until the ceremony. While Aiko was completely opposed to this idea it only took some puppy eyes on Akira's face to make her agree.
Akira thought this was a good idea since he wanted to become strong enough to make sure his parents don't have to worry about him. Obviously he was once the strongest martial artist alive but his parents didn't known this and he wasn't going to tell them that their son was a murderer.
His father started with the very basics and made Akira swing a sword for half a year. This didn't bother him that much since he wasn't used to his body yet and he got to learn more about the world in the time he didn't train. In one of the lessons the maid named Hana explained how every noble had their power that was specific to their family and that this was called a lineage power.
This lineage power could be attained if one did a deed god deemed worthy of his blessing. These powers could vary largely. While some nobles would get something like a better affinity with one element making them nearly unmatched in said element others would get a summoning technique allowing them to summon monsters they had once defeated.
Akira's family however had one of the most unique and feared powers on the continent. The power was called the sharingan however. The reason it was so feared? It's variety of uses. It was able to do things from heighten the users eyesight to recovering the users injuries within the blink of an eye. It seemed. Akira knew how versatile it was from his previous life so he wasn't as surprised but more exited he would be able to use this.
As the training went on Akira got more and more used to his body and eventually became able to put up a fight against some of the knights that served his family. He wasn't able to use many of his techniques from his previous life as his body just wasn't strong enough yet. Thus he kept on training exited for the day of his awakening ceremony to happen.
Akira had now finally turned 5. And was making his way to the church in the capital to have his awakening ceremony happen. Nobles would have their awakening ceremony separate from commoners. This wasn't because commoners were looked down upon but more to not discourage them. Nobles are generally stronger than commoners because they inherit a piece of their parents' power in addition to their own.
As Akira entered the church he looked around for a bit and sat down while his parents went to talk with other nobles. His family being a marquess family had quite a high ranking so they had to keep their relationships with other nobles.
Akira just sitting there thinking about what he would do once he was able to use magic until he was suddenly greeted by a girl his age. The girl had blond hair and was so beautiful even Akira was a bit stunned. While the girl didn't show it she too was taken aback by Akira's appearance. Akira was a boy who was pretty tal for his age and had shoulder length black hair. The girl introduced herself "i am Hamamoto Kaori." "And i am Uchiha Akira, nice to meet you.." Akira replied. Kaori's face lit up a bit as she asked "Is your father Daisuke Uchiha then?" A bit confused as to why she sounded so happy about it he replied "Yes he his." "Is it true that he is one of the strongest men alive?" "Well how am I supposed to know I haven't seen him fight all out yet." Akira replied jokingly. She stayed silent for a bit and they started laughing.
A boy came over and said "Who do you think you are to behave like that around the princess." In an annoyed and jealous tone. "And who are you to talk to me like that" Akira said causing Kaori to chuckle. Even more angry now that he got made fun of in front of the princess he states " I am Nakamura Taigen heir of the Nakamura count family." He said proudly while trying to impressing the princess. "Yes yes yes, and i am Uchiha Akira heir of the Uchiha marquess family." He said in a bored and uninterested manner once again making Kaori chuckle. You could see Taigen turning a bit pale. Not only was the child he just offended a higher rank than him he also was the son of the Uchiha family one of the most respected family in the country. Ge quickly ran away and went to talk with other people.
"So i was talking to the princess huh?" Akira said teasingly. "Yes so where is my greeting my dear servant." Kaori replied in an attempt to sound domineering. Akira couldn't contain his laughter receiving a pout from Kaori. "Aw c'mon it wasn't that bad." This made Akira laugh even harder as he replied "sure thing princess" Taigen was still watching them and became more and more jealous. Their laughter was interrupted by the bishop entering and asking everyone to go to their seats.
