The Bite

I sighed quietly as I felt myself starting to wake up. I could feel the slight breeze against my cheek as the warmth of the sun comforted my entire body. I opened my eyes laying on a bed of large leaves. I noticed I was still in the forest surrounded by trees. A small roof shaded over me, made of twigs and more leaves. I sat up and my eyes widened once I remembered what had happened the night before.

"Good, you're awake. Someone really needs to teach you manners" The snake dude said walking over to me, this time in a more human like form. His skin pale, his hair dark, and his snake eyes still a bright emerald green.

I blinked confused and surprised staring up at him. He sighed and sat in front of me in a surprisingly calm and gentle manner.

"Oh don't worry little cat, you'll be okay. The venom in the bite wasn't enough to do any real damage. I healed you as much as I could but for now you'll need to rest" He explained with an emotionless expression.

I furrowed my brows pouting slightly "You bit me" I stated.

"No, that was my idiot of a brother. But he's taken care of for now, so relax. I have no time to babysit you so-"

"Babysit? You practically kidnapped me!" I exclaim.

He rolled his eyes "Don't make this something it's not. Calm down, or I'll give you something to whine about" He said calmly.

"Is that supposed to be a threat" I asked baring my small cat fangs.

He grinned "No, it's a promise. We have a long few days ahead of us, so let's not make this complicated, okay?" He said.

"I'm not going anywhere with you" I stated and began to stand up but winced slightly feeling a pain in my arm. I looked at it seeing bandages around the bite mark.

"I warned you" He said sheepishly. "That bite may be healed, but it's still sore. Now like I said before, you need to rest" He added.

I bit my lip hesitantly and sat down my tail flicking slightly. "Good kitty" He grinned gently patting my head.

I blushed slightly and cleared my throat. "I have a name you know" I stated.

He chuckled quietly "I know" he smirked slightly and I pouted glaring at him.
