Sword

[Master Daron. You can either optimize these to your body, or you can improve these techniques. I can do both, but that will take a lot longer.]

'Huh? Oh… Ok. Wait. How much time' Daron quickly understood the situation.

[If I take my full processing power, it will take around 8 days to improve one, and 4 days to optimize.]

'Hmm. Alright then. First thing you need to do is improve the method to break through and then optimize it. Then, optimize the circulation method. Then improve Vine Fist, and then optimize it. Lastly, improve the circulation method. How much time will this take?'

[Master Daron. Based on the most time efficient method according to my calculations, it will take 26 days to finish all the tasks excluding improving the circulation method. However, for this time, the main system as well as the back-up system will be unavailable.]

'Alright. Do it then.' Daron sighed as he finished everything he had to do for the day and went to the Blacksmith union to complete his sword.

[Commencing tasks]

After a while, he had finally finished grinding the edge onto the blade using the leg-operated stone grinding wheel.

His legs were numb at this point, and he was just as tired as he was when he made the blade. At that point, it had taken him nearly half an hour to recover, and so the old man that was teaching him went ahead and completed the quenching process yesterday. This time, he was just as tired, but nothing needed to be done urgently, and so he simply waited for some time before adding the finishing touches to the blade along with the handle. Naturally, he also went ahead and added a tiny insignia where the hilt and the blade met.

This symbol was a symbol he had thought for quite some time and had confirmed with the Blacksmith Union that no one else used this symbol. This symbol was that of an Eastern dragon. Although he wanted to first make a normal dragon according to the western cultures with a pair of wings on the back, four limbs that supported the lizard like body. However, such symbols were already taken by many masters and aspiring masters, and almost any symbol he came up with had been rejected by the Blacksmith Union for being to close or the exact same as some other member.

Since Dragons did actually exist in the Mythical Era, that took place before the Era of the High Elves, where Gods and Demons battled for reign over this continent, many myths and legends contained depiction of the dragons. Some people even boasted about having seen the actual bones of a dragon.

Therefore, Daron ended up making something similar to a much younger Shenron. And to be honest, it looked far better than all of his previous drawings, at least to himself. Since it was incredibly small and detailed, it took a long time to actually complete the engraving. When he was done, it was already nearing sundown.

Daron quickly submitted his sword to the Blacksmith Union and registered himself to advance from being a Blacksmith apprentice to becoming a proper blacksmith.

"Alright. Come back in 2 days. We will have your Blacksmith Union Badge ready by then." Said the burly man at the desk.

Daron simply nodded and left.

Two days passed by normally, with Daron just depositing all his money into the Union Bank, and doing the daily quota of combat and etiquette training.

He did not go to the blacksmith union since he was not confident in making another sword without making any mistakes since Sirious' processing power was busy making his advancement method.

Now, he went to the Blacksmith Union building after finishing his daily training.

"Here" The burly man handed him a badge, and the 3 other blacksmiths within the union building began clapping in applause as they welcomed a new member to their Union.

Daron accepted the badge and looked at it.

It was a piece of iron metal which was about the size of his entire hand, and he could not cover it with only one hand. It was rather heavy, and was completely flat except for bevelled edges. On one side, the metal was pressed in forming an anvil, which was the symbol of the Blacksmith Union, and it was the same symbol plastered at the entrance of the Union.

On the other side, Daron's Shenron was engraved onto it, almost an identical copy as what he had given to the Blacksmith union on paper. In fact, it looked better than the one he had made on his first sword that he submitted since he did not have access to Sirious, and was engraving it freehand.

Thankfully, Daron's drawing skills did not deteriorate when he came to this world, and allowed him to make a really life-like Shenron on his first sword.

"As an official Blacksmith, you need to name your first sword. It is part of our tradition." Said the old man who had mentored him up until now.

Daron looked over at his first sword. It seemed like an ordinary sword, but compared to the ones he received during the 3-day expedition, this one looked at least a grade higher. Daron already knew why. Those swords were cheap swords made from directly moulding molten iron into the shape of a double-edged sword. This method was faster and required less effort, and therefore was at least half the cost of the swords made by the blacksmiths of the blacksmith Union.

His sword, could be considered the lowest grade of swords, 'Ordinary' at the blacksmith union since it was made by stretching and compressing a black of iron instead of liquifying it. The sword he had gotten on the 3-day expedition would be considered as 'Inferior' grade, a grade below this sword.

This sword was a short sword for adult males, but was just right for Daron's 6-year-old body. It was rather light for a sword of this thickness due to this length, which made it just as strong as normal swords of the 'Ordinary' grade, but had 3/4th the weight.

With his current physical strength that matched a fully grown adult, and a few stats that even exceeded a fully grown adult, this sword was incredibly light compared to the block of iron that was the 'Inferior' grade sword.

Seeing the shape of the sword that resembled a long fang or tooth, Daron decided to name it.

"Dragon Tooth."
