That Old Geezer Was Lying!

Abruptly an explosion of distorted memories hit me as if a shattering funhouse mirror was reflecting all of my body's memories on the fractal surfaces of a kaleidoscope.

Then like magic, the shattering mirror slowly stopped moving and a small portion started going in reverse.

As if through some invisible fabrics weaving together, when this happened I could now recall these memories and something became clear to me, that old geezer was lying!

Those two doctors weren't my parents at all, they were testing whether I remembered anything!

While still being slightly angry I got fooled, I started to wake up from my sleep surprised at the fact the surgery was already over.

When I opened my eyes I was swiftly blinded by the lights in the room.

Shortly after this happened, the old coot Dr. Heal came in with an assistant.

With a cheeky grin the old man said, "Brat, It's time to wake up for school!"

These words reignite my earlier anger, "Who do you think you're fooling with that, Old man!

"You won't fool me again after yesterday!"

Without a pause, the old man said, "Hm? Did I fool you yesterday?"

"you told me your assistants were my family, of course you did!"

With surprise filling his old face he said, "So you remembered! I guess I can send you home then."

Confused, I ask, "Huh? I get to go home so soon? What about the rehab you guys mentioned yesterday?"

"That was just us using codewords to confirm whether you had forgotten what your parents looked like or not. Now get off that bed, we are leaving"

Getting up to follow the old man that was walking towards the door with a very cheeky grin, I cried out with fake confusion

"Where are we going? School?"

As if the most obvious thing in the world he replied

"I'm surely bringing you to your car so they can drive you off."
