Chapter 7 Blood of the Nobles

"It's the truth Jaden, he's my son," Hashimoto said. "Back up just a moment, if you are the son of Hashimoto, then how are you a noble?" I asked. Hashimoto and Reinhard looked at each other and paused for a moment then turned towards us. "My son and I, we were involved in establishing diplomatic ties for this nation," Hashimoto stated. "That makes more sense I guess, do you understand what he is saying big brother?" Emma asked. "Yes, I understand it," I nodded.

"Really I should have told you this before, but I guess that I did not," Lucifer claimed. "How do you guess that you didn't tell me something like that? Hashimoto's son is a valuable source for connecting the Academy and the kingdom," I said. "Do you really want that Jaden? Connections between the Academy and the kingdom mean that more visitors would be arriving on the daily, you have your hands full as it is now. Would you be able to deal with all of the added pressure of the visitors?" Lucifer asked. "You're right. I don't really want any added popularity at the academy," I sighed. "Big brother...Please promise me that you will consider your schedule and health before making any major decisions about the academy," Emma worried.

"Sorry for the interruption in your speech, if you have more to say then please do continue," Lucifer insisted. "Thank you for the offer, I will accept your offer," Hashimoto accepted. The crowd corrected their attention on Hashimoto once more as he straightened his suit and tie. "This boy's name is Jaden Kakaradi, but you should address him as General Kakaradi," Reinhard began. "Why do we give him special attention?" a citizen asked. "It's not special attention, he is the General of the I.E.F. otherwise known as the International Elite Forces," he continued. "Wait, this is that Jaden," the citizen asked. "Indeed it is, he is of a very high rank. Don't let his rank fool you though, it is not a high enough rank for his powers," he said. "Silence!!" I yelled. "Is there something the matter?" Reinhard asked.

"That is enough information regarding me Reinhard. We can both agree that there is no point in going when we know that it will only bring fear of a child that is stronger than the kingdom itself," I pointed out. "Alright, this crowd is dismissed at once," the king ordered. "Thank you for your understanding in the matter king," I said as I thanked him. "No need to thank me, I look forward to the progress in our alliance," the king blushed. As I turned around to walk off, I felt a tap on my shoulder. "Please, if you don't mind, I would like to talk to you about something," Reinhard requested.

"Very well then, you have my full attention," I replied. "No, I mean alone," he corrected himself. "Oh… I understand," I said. Emma and I followed him to his office as Lucifer and Hashimoto stayed behind. "Beautiful!! Who would've ever known that you had an office with this kind of luxurie in it," Emma exclaimed. "Oh lord, you are not used to this kind of office? I thought that the academy was a luxurious place to be at," Reinhard stated. "Hah luxurie, Mr. Engrim doesn't care about luxurie for students," I laughed. "What a shame. Jaden, you need to do something about this, your students deserve more than just the minimal required for comfort," he suggested.

"Look Reinhard, I am not a billionaire okay. I am only the son of Lucifer and principal of Rockaridge Academy. I don't know how you see me but, I cannot simply just wave my hands around and make money appear like you can," I stated, annoyed. "Come over here Jaden," he said. I shrugged and walked over to him like he asked me to. When I reached him I felt a sharp pain in my stomach, did he just stab me in the stomach? "Think before you act Reinhard! Your position as a noble is a privilege, I can take it away from you!" Suzuke stated. "Oh dear you followed us here. You needn't worry, I am only demonstrating that he cannot be killed by weapons," he said. "Did you have to stab me without warning though?" I questioned.

"That wouldn't work," he replied. "What do you mean by it wouldn't work?" I asked. "Guess you aren't aware of one of your abilities yet. If your brain senses an attack coming it will harden your body, therefore preventing me from striking you. When not expecting an attack, your body can easily be attacked," Reinhard said. "Exactly what is your point in all of this?" Emma asked. "My point? That's simple, even if he gets attacked by an enemy that he is unaware of, he won't be affected," he said. "Then why is he in pain?" Suzuke asked. "He isn't in pain, he's just simply startled at the moment," he replied. "So what you're saying is that I am basically immune to all attacks?" I pondered. "Spot on," he clapped.

Upon hearing this we returned to the academy. To my surprise, the academy was eerily silent. "Father," I said. "I know, I sense it too," Lucifer responded. We decided to split up to investigate, I headed to the west side of the academy while father headed to the east. "Status report dad," I requested. "All of the rooms are empty on this side," Lucifer replied. "Quickly, we must find where the teachers and students are at," I insisted. "I'm already on it," Lucifer replied. "What's the ruckus about big brother? Hashimoto, Ms. Yune, and I are worried that something might have happened to the other students," Emma stated. "I am already aware of the situation, Hashimoto go assist father in searching that side of the academy," I ordered. "Yes sir," Hashimoto stated before running towards Lucifer. "Emma stay close to me," I said. "Okay big brother," Emma nodded.

"Don't leave me out of this!" Suzuke said, stomping her feet. "Give me a break, you're so childish," I groaned. "Take that back," Suzuke pleaded. "Fine, you are to stay close to us," I sighed. "Yay I get to investigate," Suzuke cheered, jumping up and down while spinning. "What have I got myself into?" I asked myself. "Shh! Come out from around that corner whoever you are," I said. "Oh, you saw through my dimensional space warping! I wonder, how did you do that?" she questioned. "Enough babbling, who are you and where are the teachers and students?" I asked. "I have no clue what you are talking about," she replied. "Bullshit, now tell me, where are they," I asked again, activating my demon eyes. "Don't you believe me? All I know is that master insisted that we come to this academy," she claimed. "Really, who is this master that you speak of?" I asked. "He is the one who saved me 10 years ago," she replied.

"We don't know who saved you ten years ago," Suzune stated. "So you are telling me that you don't remember who I am?" a man asked. The man was around 5 feet and 4 inches. He wore a black robe and a mask over his eyes. "I'm sorry, I don't remember who you are," I said. "Oh, maybe this will make you remember," he said, snapping his fingers. His manly figure transformed into a lady-like appearance. He now had long green hair and a maid suit on. "Doesn't ring any bells," I shrugged and began to walk away. He raised his hand into the air and pointed at me like you would a gun. "Dark Wind," he chanted. The phrase caused a fierce wind to develop around his hand. He raised his hand once more then lowered it, sending the wind hurling towards us.

"Have I reminded you of someone yet?" he asked impatiently. "Nope. Sorry but, I don't remember any time that we could have met each other," I said. "Restraint of Gelgius," he chanted, pointing in my direction once again. 15 chains appeared in the air and tried to latch in to me, but to no avail were they successful. "Lucifer, I have a male here that looks to be around the age of 16, he has a servant with him as well. The male can change genders effortlessly and has the ability to dissorrient the flow of wind and chains of restraint," Emma radioed in. "Don't humor him! Hashimoto and I will be there right away," Lucifer responded.

"Quite the interesting predicament I have managed to back myself into," the boy chuckled. "Conceal this being within the walls of Mustagernluata, and seal the powers of the spirit," Suzuke began to say. Emma and I jumped backwards to avoid getting in the path of her anti-magical cage. "Bitch!! Manners are a virtue you know. Since you cast it, draining almost all of your life along with it, I will stay put," the boy smirked. "Everyone calm down. For starters, tell us who you are and why you and your servant are here," I ordered. "You really don't remember who I am? Guess it can't be helped after all, it has been 2 years now," he said. "Explain to me what you are talking about right now!" I exclaimed. "Oh calm down. You stood up for me 2 years ago and stopped a perverted man from touching me. Then as a reward, I allowed you to tickle me, does it ring any bells?" he asked.

"I don't know what you are talking about right now," I said. "Troublesome one you are, look at you going off and forgetting about such an exciting moment," he teased. "I have never seen you before," I said in a stern voice. "Even though you might not remember me, I have something to tell you," he declared. "Please, go right ahead and spit it out," I said, annoyed. "I-I love you," he claimed.

Oh boy has he done it now! Take the definition of digging your own grave and he just did that! Emma clenched her fists tightly as she tried to fight against her strong urge to bloody the boy up. "Jaden, you might want to step back. Emmalyn's eyes are glowing red now!" Suzuke warned. Emma walked through the wall of the cage that was holding the boy and began punching him. "Nobody talks to my big brother like he is just a tool," she said, punching him in the face. "Are you crazy little girl? This is a conversation between your brother and I, there is no room for your feedback," the boy claimed, grabbing her arms and rolling over. He now had her arms and legs pinned down as he continued to try and say something to her. "Leave big brother out of that, he has nothing to do with any of the events that you mentioned," Emma pleaded, struggling to break loose from his tight grip. "I will make him mine, and when I do, I will make him get rid of you," the boy whispered in her ear.

Emma's expression turned from understanding to killing, in the blink of an eye. "Don't you ever tell my big brother that you love him again!!" Emma yelled, kneeing him in an area guaranteed to hurt. He started rolling from the left to the right, repeating this as he tried to ease the pain. "Stay away from him, you hear me? Don't lay a single hand on him or you will die!" she finished, kicking him in the face with the bottom of her shoe.

"That's quite enough punishment for his actions sweetie, if he takes any more he will die from loss of blood," Lucifer stated. "Go to hell," she said, spitting on the boy's head. Lucifer kneeled beside the boy that was lying on the ground to get a closer look at him. "Just your luck kid. Ya know that if you mess with the bull, you get the horns," Lucifer laughed. "Quit being an ass old man," the boy responded. "Do you really want to call me old man?" Lucifer asked, grabbing the boy by his hair. "No sir," the boy replied. "Sounds good to me," Lucifer grinned, throwing the boy back down.

"All things aside, why are you here and for what reason?" Lucifer asked. "I have come to warn you that a well known noble is planning to turn on the king. His plan is to overthrow the kingdom's balance of power," said the boy. "Interesting, tell me more, Gabriel the second," Lucifer requested.

"The name of the noble is Anos, he is a very rich noble to say the least. He hopes to regain the throne that was taken from him by the current king. Anos, the true founder of the kingdom, was described in fairy tale books as an evil person who tried to kill the king for the throne," the boy started. "What does that have to do with any of this?" Hashimoto asked. "The king used the fairy tale to falsely claim the throne as his," the boy replied. "I still don't see what the problem is with that," Hashimoto groaned. "Moron! The king must have known Anos personally, which means that the king must have been in alliance with a different kingdom," the boy paused. "Hashimoto, what she is trying to say is that the king wanted to rule the kingdom of Senrican for an unknown reason," Lucifer said.

"I thought I told you to kill them when you find them," Anos said. "They are not enemies! Don't jump to conclusions without facts and evidence," the boy cried out. Anos walked up to the boy and kicked him in the stomach, causing him to spit blood. "I will punish you properly whenever we get home later," Anos glared. "Just what exactly is it that you are going to do to him?" I asked. "Tie him up and hit him a few hundred times with a whip," he replied. "You scum," I said, attempting to punch him in the face. He dodged my punch by moving his head to the left and stepping to the side. I stumbled and took a second to regain my balance. "You are not yet fast enough to strike me," Anos said. "For your information, I could strike you whenever I feel like it," I said, aiming for his stomach. He turned around, grabbed my arm and stretched it behind my head. "Stop before you embarrass yourself," Anos said. I hesitated but agreed to back down.

"I admit you are a skilled fighter and the strongest being in the universe but when it comes to my martial arts abilities, you are no match," Anos stated. "Thank you for your honesty, I appreciate the fact that you acknowledged your own skills and admitted that I was stronger," I congratulated. "Yeah well, that doesn't mean that I will let you off the hook this easily," he claimed. "What did I even do?" I asked. "That alliance that you recently formed is interfering in my plans," he said. "How is it that you want to re-claim your throne back?" I asked. "The first step is to eliminate his royal guards from the equation," Anos explained. "That will cause a big problem, the citizens will be faced with a situation where they have to protect themselves, riots will break out, and all order will be dismantled," I said. "I was going to do that later anyways," Anos added.

"As I suspected, you want your kingdom back and you want to re-establish it by yourself," Suzuke concluded. "Precisely! Do you intend to stand in my way princess?" Anos asked. "No, I do not. If it rightfully belongs to you then I will not stop you," Suzuke declared. "Wise choice," Anos said, grabbing the boy by the neck. "Don't carry the kid like that," I protested. "I don't take orders from anyone," he replied before leaving. "Dammit he makes me so angry with his thought process! He handled that boy like he was a book to him," I said, irritated. "Calm down, don't let him get to you like this," Lucifer said. "Get to me? It isn't that easy to get to me ya know," I reassured. "You know, it really doesn't hurt to admit your weakness to family," Hashimoto said. "Admitting one's weakness to family is like declaring that you surrender in a war, if a family member does not support what you are doing then they will easily know what to do about it," I stated.

"Must be sad to always be skeptical about every little detail," Hashimoto said, patting me on the back. "Save the sympathy for someone who needs it," I grumbled. We began to walk and stopped at the end of the hall after hearing a noise the opposite direction. I spun around to see Anos standing there once more. "Just a friendly reminder, don't try to interfere with my plans, tell your army to stand down, they don't want to get hurt,"  he claimed. "How long?" I asked. "What do you mean?" he asked in return. "How long do you want me to standby?" I questioned. "For a minimum of 10 days," he responded. "I will accept that request under one condition, you do not injure any innocent citizens," I clarified. "I can work with that. You have a deal," he agreed, teleporting away.

I returned to my office along with Emma, while Ms. Suzuke, Lucifer and Hashimoto headed back to class. "Do you believe me now Jaden?" Reinhard asked from behind the door. "Why are you standing there and how did you get here?" I asked. "I can teleport genius," he replied. "I knew that but, why are you in my office?" I questioned, slamming a book down onto the desk. "Chill out Jaden! I'm only here to prove to you that I was correct about what I said before," Reinhard grinned. "Alright, alright, I know that you are right okay, now if you don't mind I have some work to do so leave," I insisted. "What kind of work do you have to do Jaden?" Charlotte asked. I swear that I jumped nearly 5 feet off of the ground as I spun around to see who was talking. "Lord have mercy, you don't have to sneak up on me like that Charlotte, you're going to make me have a heart attack," I claimed, straightening my tie. "Darling, I want to play!" Charlotte exclaimed. "What do you mean by play?" I asked. "I mean doctor," she said.

Shit, shit, shit, shit, shit!! Emma is definitely going to kill her if she says anything else! "I don't have the time for play doctor Charlotte," I said. "Really, am I not good enough for you?" she asked. Too close, that is way too close for comfort. You really need to back up if you know what's good for you. "Get away from my Jay-jay!" Emma muttered under her breath. "Did you say something just now Student Council President?" Charlotte asked. Emma turned to face the direction that we were in. "Get the fuck away from my Jay-Jay!!" Emma yelled. Her eyes turned red as her horns began to grow to their full length. Her fingernails were soon overgrown with claws that could cut through a medium sized car with ease.

"Let it slide Emma, she was trying to instigate you. If you end up doing this you will regret it later," Lucifer said. Hearing this didn't phase her in the slightest bit for she continued to walk towards Charlotte. "Is she okay Jaden?" asked Charlotte. "Don't simply stand there and act like you are completely innocent here," I stated. "If I have done anything wrong I am not aware of it," Charlotte claimed. "You know damn well that Emma is protective of me yet you constantly hang on to me while in front of her," I explained. "I promise you that I wasn't trying to cause any trouble for you," she claimed. I find that very difficult to believe, she's always going around causing drama when I'm around. "Use your head Charlotte!! Get out of this room and go to the lowest floor safe that is built into the wall, hide inside it," I said. "There is no way that I can get into that safe," she replied. I leaned down and whispered the code to the safe in her ear, she nodded and ran towards the direction of the safe.

"Charlotte, move, now!" Reinhard yelled. By the time that Charlotte had heard this, it was too late for avoidance of an attack.  Emma bent her left knee and boosted herself into a flying position by using her right foot to sling her further. Charlotte stepped to the side a second too late as Emma locked onto her neck with a tight grip. "Emma let me go," Charlotte begged. "Cannot comprehend! I asked you many times to back away from him, you failed to do so resulting in this consequence," Emma explained. "Jaden is not an item, nobody owns the rights to him. If anything, he owns the both of you, the school, and basically the whole universe," Reinhard interrupted. "I mean I wouldn't exactly go that far," I stated. "It's the full fledged truth Jaden and you know it is," he said.

"Stop chatting over there and help me please," Charlotte requested. I began to run in the direction that they were in, only to be slowed to a halt by one of Emma's powerful spells, the barricade of truth. "Sister, stop this now and put her down," I said. "Sorry Jaden, your sister can't hear you at the moment. If you wish to speak with someone do so with me," Emma said in an unknown voice. "And who are you?" I asked. "My oh my, you don't recognize my voice? That's offensive!" the voice responded. "Look, whoever you are, I do not have the time to play games. Put Charlotte down before I get pissed off even more than I already am!" I said. "Honestly, I am not in control of her physical body movements. The only thing that I can really do at the moment is use her to speak freely," the voice continued. "I don't believe you, but I will not accuse you of doing something when I do not have any proof of it," I finished. Odin dammit, I don't know why I am going to just sit back and accept his response like that. Uhh Emma causes difficulties for me almost everyday of the week! Maybe it would be best if she kills Charlotte here and now to avoid any more complications. Except, I would much prefer that she'd shred her to pieces instead of crushing her neck.

As I thought that to myself I heard a loud noise. I looked up to see Emma shredding her up. Did I do that? Did I just kill Charlotte? Can I kill people simply from thoughts alone? "Jaden, where is Charlotte, and why is Emma dripping blood?" father asked, walking towards me. I stood in shock, finding myself unable to move. "Your daughter ripped her to shreds," Reinhard said. He looked at the wall and slowly moved his head to face Emma, and then me. "Is that true son?" he asked. "Please forgive me dad! I wasn't able to stop her from doing this. A spirit is inside her and claims that we have met before," I explained. "Good grief, can he not leave this family alone for just a few centuries?" he sighed.  "Do you know who the spirit that I am talking about is?" I questioned. "Yes. He's a power greedy bastard that wants nothing more than to get what power you hold," father stated.

"Yeah, fuck you too old geeser," the voice yelled. "Hiding the truth won't do you any good. I already know your motives so it is pointless to argue with me," Lucifer claimed. "I have changed my ways you moron, I am a better person now and only wish to see their journey through," the voice said. "People cannot and will not change their ways. This twisted way of society is just plain out bullshit! Human beings are leashed to their desires the moment that they are born. Even if you "changed" your ways, you will easily be converted back to your old self. My reasoning is simple, if you give a person that was once a murderer the chance to live but continue to kill others, or get tortured for the rest of his life, he will choose killing once more." Lucifer explained.

"Nonsense, you are simply spitting out lies!" the voice denied. "Since you're so confident that I am wrong and you are right, prove me wrong," Lucifer declared. "Are you being serious right now? Games are for children, not grown men," the voice stuttered. "Last time that I checked you are not a grown man, but only a teen that doesn't age," Lucifer said. "Where did you hear that at?" the voice asked. "I am the first angel to serve Odin, I have access to unlimited amounts of files," Lucifer finished, teleporting away.

It took me 3 minutes to break through the barrier that she had put up to prevent me from stopping her. Once I got rid of the barrier I ran to Emma to try and comfort her. Instead of a warm greeting, I got a violent surge of anger from the spirit. "STAY AWAY FROM ME!!" the spirit yelled. "Fyi, you are in my sister's body. I will not back away from my sister whenever she is suffering," I replied. " When I say stay away from me I mean, STAY THE FUCK AWAY FROM ME!!" the spirit yelled, raising his hand and causing me to fly backwards. Before I could slam into the wall of the hallway my wings activated, thus preventing any more damage. "Do you need assistance General?" Reinhard asked with a grin on his face. "What has you in such a good mood?" I questioned. "Nevermind that right now, do you want my help or not?" he asked again. "Thanks for the offer, but no," I replied.

As I was trying to think of a plan to get the spirit out of Emma's body, the bell for 2nd block rang. Before I could instruct Lucifer to hold the students in the classroom for a while longer, the hallway was filled with students curiously huddled around us. "SCP, is that you?" a student asked, reaching out to touch her shoulder. "Don't touch me with your filthy hands!" the spirit yelled, dislocating a piece of the ceiling and sending it in the student's direction. Without thinking twice about the matter I teleported above the student and slung the piece of material away from the school. "Father, I'm going to need you to take control of the children and get them back into the classrooms," I ordered. "I'm already on it son," he replied.

Great, now that I have got that situation taken care of, I need to figure out how to deal with this spirit. "Oh Jaden, why don't you use an anti-magical barrier so that he cannot maintain his grip on her?" Reinhard suggested. "Great idea," I replied. "Ms. Suzune, I need you to report to the hallway in front of my office immediately."

"I will be there as soon as I can," she responded. This is going to be a risky gamble of luck. Depending on many different conditions, this might go smooth or it might turn ugly. Either way it turns, I am more than prepared to handle it.
