Chapter 8- Joining the Agency

Li Mei woke up at 7 am sharp staying in bed overlooking many of business email and looking the stock market and how it was doing.

It wasn't until 8 am where Li Mei left her king sized bed to go to the bathroom and started my skin care routine. Her skin was lightly damaged from her wearing a absurd amount of makeup and not take it off for the night. She started applying cleanser then rinsed it off to continue with moisturizer and SPF sunscreen.

Exiting her, Li Mei came down stairs to both of her parents were at the kitchen counter talking with Brother Mo.

"Mother, Father, you've comeback from your business in Country Z?" Li Mei asked curiously about they're experience's in Country Z.

"It was okay the newest project has been going splendidly thanks to you." Father replied leaning against the counter.

"It was splendid. The people in Country Z dress so much more differently than in Country S!" Mother replied happily.

Li Mei's parents weren't home all the time but when they were it was the best. Her dad was the CEO of Li Corp. Her mom was the famous fashion designer Qing Han or better now "White Lotus" she had garnered the whole fashion scene by the time she was 20 and when she married Li Qin the son of infamous business man Li Qiu and the heir to Li Corp.

Li Mei parents were very well known being the best looking couple of their time. When her brothers Li Mo and Li Fen born the internet went on a frenzy guessing on how good looking they would be. When Li Mei was born everyone predicting her being the most prettiest baby in world. Of course since Li Mei was the baby of the family she was well hidden from the media no one knowing what she looks like.

"Mhm.." Li Mei replied as her phone buzzed.

"Hello?" Li Mei answered as she picked up her phone to move it next to her ear moving her hair out of the way. Her parents and brother next to her curious on who the phone call was from.

"Hi. Yes, is this Li Mei?" The unknown person asked.

"Yes, it is. Why so?" Li Mei replied still confused.

"We would like to inform you that you have passed your audition at Global Media and we need you to come over to sign the Idol Trainee contract." The unknown person replied.

"Oh! Yes of course when should I come over?" Li Mei replied feeling a rush of relief flow through her.

"How about tomorrow?" The unknown person replied.

"Okay see you tomorrow." Li Mei said as she ended her phone call.

Li Mei look up to see her parents and brother staring her down wanting answers to what the previous phone call was about and why would she meet them tomorrow.

"Umm, I passed the audition!" Li Mei said with a hint of excitement around the awkward atmosphere.

"Congrats!" Her family replies smiling.

"I do have to move to Country K of course to take part of the training." Li Mei says as she looks away not wanting to see her families reaction.

"It's okay go chase your dreams. We're chasing ours it isn't fair if you aren't chasing yours." Brother Mo replies having his hand on Li Mei's chin to have her look at him.

Once Li Mei hears this she starts bawling and doesn't stop until Brother Mo made a dumb joke that made her laugh.
