*Author's Note: The chapters from here on will be fast, detailed, and multilateral (multiple fights will take place simultaneously). As always it will be largely based on the pov of the character and I want you to experience it as if you are the character themself. Move as they do, see as they do, feel as they do... and you 'will' have the best experience.*

"Mother, I'm tired," Lilia whispered slowly closing her eyes.
The mother smiled, her daughter had been brave, very brave. As she ran her hand over her daughter's hair, a soft voice followed from her lips, forming into the gentle melody of a lullaby.
The night was cold, and all the tears had dried up. As the sweet lullaby filled the room, on the other side of the door, a young man with blonde hair and a glowing sword, charged at the horde of monsters coming at him.
In a spark of metal and light, their blades met...
And the fight began.

***Liam Everhart***
I slashed upward, meeting the axe with my sword, blade to blade. The force of the clash was so strong, the double-sided axe shattered, with my Magisteel sword enduring the force and continuing upward. I followed my blade, launching myself upward off the ground, and turned my blade in a cross slash, immediately beheading the large goblin.
His body dispersed immediately in shards of light, armor and all. However, this was just the beginning.
As sensed by my spatial detection, a punch came right into me. I successfully blocked with my shield, but the impact sent me flying a couple meters back.
As I recovered onto my feet, the goblins flooded into the room. While some were smaller goblins and hobgoblins, most were large armored champion-class goblins, which is highly unusual and extremely wrong considering that one goblin spawn can only have one Goblin Champion. This could only mean one of two things, either goblin champions were being brought in from other spawns...
...or this Monster Spawn was actively spawning champion class goblins to suppress me.
Hmm...
I sensed once again using my spatial detection.
Am I surrounded? Yes, I am.
Do I care? Absolutely not.
Let's begin.
Spear from the right. Another axe attack from the front. The spear will reach me first. I dodged and grabbed the spear with my shield hand. Planting my feet into the ground I pulled onto the spear hard. As the goblin champion tumbled forward, I grabbed his golden breastplate and pulled him in front of me. All in an instant, right in time for the axe attack coming from the front, to bury itself into the back of my goblin shield.
As the Goblin in my grasp cried out in pain, I cut his head off and threw his body into the goblins to the left, throwing them off balance, while I myself launched forward and stabbed the axe goblin. Lightbreak cleanly cutting through the metal armor and right into the heart of the screaming monster.
I kicked myself off the body of the dispersing goblin towards the off-balance goblins. With a single slash, I killed three at once.
Another spear from behind and a smaller goblin charging at me with a club. Interesting. I dodged and let the spear pass by my head as I grabbed it and broke it off one foot from the tip. The smaller goblin has reached me. I immediately turned and put my broken-off spear tip right into his face and threw my sword into the face of the Goblin champion, going cleanly through his head.
Fuck! I immediately jumped back as a massive spiked club smashed into the place where I was just standing.
Once again, I considered my surroundings. As the goblin champion I just killed dispersed into shards of light, more rushed into the room to take his place. I had only killed half of the previous group, but now there were even more, making the room feel much more cramped. With large groups of goblins still gathering outside.
My spatial detection was turned on every moment, giving me constant input of everything happening around me, as if I could see it myself. But even with that, I am the one who has to be capable enough to deal with everything. One wrong step and I will be the one with a blade inside me.
Bare-handed goblin charging from behind, three small goblins from the left, and another sword-wielding goblin champion from the right. Worst of all, the spiked club that just smashed my previous position being raised once again by a goblin champion larger than any other in the room.
Easy. I slashed the three smaller goblins to create space and rolled over to the left. While this disrupted the charge of the goblin champions, it created a new problem. Yet another goblin champion standing right by the space I just created for myself. By the time he realized I was there and started to bring his club down on me, I already put my sword through the soft part below his chin and stabbed right through his head.
By then the previous three goblin champions recovered and realized where I was, charging at me with their weapons bared. I threw my sword to the right, probably stabbing some goblin (I heard a painful scream), and grabbed the club of the goblin champion I just killed. Even though it was too heavy for me, I once again planted my feet into the ground and with the full force of my body, I swung the club in a wide arc, missing all three of the goblins unfortunately.
Hitting them was not my aim anyway. Avoiding the swinging club not only put them off balance but also blocked their view as well. I yelled "Lightbreak" calling my sword back to me and launched myself off the ground once again, slashing the heads off all three goblin champions at once.
....
This is righteous.
Innocent lives. Scared and tired with nothing but a spark of life and the wish to see a new morning again. Even as the villagers remain devasted by the loss of their loved ones, they could do nothing but pin their hopes of living on me. As long as I carry the burden of their lives and the fire of my hatred, I will not fall. I will not stop.
I will kill them all. Every last monster who dares to live while I exist.
It was then...
As I land on my feet and draw in my blade to recover my stance, a sharp devastating pain rips through my back and I feel the cold of metal tearing through my heart. My vision turns red and I cough up blood, as I look down at the tip of a sword emerging from my chest.
