Will he find the answers he's looking for? Or will an even unimaginable secret unearth itself in front of him?

"Where is she?" I pushed the glass doors of the store open and my eyes landed on Jo who was talking to a police officer. "Where is she?!" I demanded as I hastily made my way to Jo.

"Jordan…" Jo ran towards me and wrapped her arms around me.

"Jo, what happened? Where is she? Where is Rose?" I pulled her back and searched her face for answers.

"I don't know… I…" Jo raked a hand through her hair.

I shook her by the shoulders. "Jo! Why are the police here? Where is Skylar?" I asked carefully.

Jo took a sharp breath in. "Maybe you should sit down—"

"I don't want to sit down!" I shouted. My patience was running thin. No, it had completely run out.
