*Alarm Beeps*
Sam jabs at the electronic. He always hated the sound of the alarm. There is no point in using it anyways, since he'll continue his sleep till he decides it's time to wake up. So he sleeps some more.
"Sam!" a female voice called from a distance
"Sam, I know you can hear me. Get your ass off that bed now" said the voice again.
Groaning, Sam decided to crawl out of bed. He search for his eye glass at the bed stand, putting it on, he stood and stretch. A sudden pain grabbed him on the neck, he must have slept on it again. Thinking in his head,__I'll get some ice to it, he headed to his bathroom. When he was done cleaning himself and putting on some fresh clothes, he make his way down the stairs.
"Good morning" said a female voice
"Good morning mom" Sam replied straining and stretching his neck again
"Don't you wanna put some ice on that?" said Sam's mom
Handing him a pack of ice she brought out of the refrigerator. "Thanks, I knew I forgot something" Sam said, applying the ice directly to his neck, he made a sigh of relieve.
"Don't you always forget something?" Sam's mom replied with a roll of her eye. "So whats the plan today?" she continued
"You tell me, you're my teacher" Sam replied.
"Well, I was hoping we do something fun today, how about that?"
"Fine. I just hope I don't end up bored"
*Two hours later*
"Mom, I can't do this" Sam said in frustration
"You just keep messing it up. Put your mind to it" his mom replied
"It doesn't even make any sense" Sam concluded, throwing the pieces of puzzles away in anger.
"It will if you'll just put your mind to it Sam" his mom shouted back, more furious now.
"Sam you're 17years old and you can't even play a landscape puzzle. All you do is play with the telescope all day, which you don't even know how it works"
"It's not my fault mom, you could have done better by getting pregnant for Albert Einstein instead of a drunk" Sam declared stomping his way to the stairs. His mom was quiet now watching in awe as her son close his bedroom door with a force enough to bring the house down, she winced and seated herself back on the chair, she stare blankly at the puzzle laying on the floor.
Sam was laying on his bed and staring at the celling, figuring out how to repair his mind. "What is wrong with me?" he said aloud. He gets off the bed, and make his way to window, he peeps to see what's outside, it's a busy Monday morning. All the kids are in school now. He couldn't go to school because he was too dumb for it, no school was ready to go that extra on a kid, unless his parents can afford paying extra fees. So he's been home schooled since the 4th grade. He is getting tired of that now. He wants to go out. He wants to make friends and hang out with people of his age. But he can't because the last time he did, he ended up been bullied and he almost lost an eye. So it's best if he stay where he's safe. He Stare at the coffee shop opposite their house, the building has a terrace, and customers go up there to use their Wi-Fi. He remember he always dream about parading a terrace, but he don't always get the image straight, so he doesn't know which building the terrace belongs to.
"Sam, you forgot your breakfast" his mom called out from behind the door, cutting him off of his thoughts. "I'm not hungry" Sam replied, trying to be headstrong even though he actually is hungry.
"I'll just leave it by the door for you" his mom replied
When he hear his mom's footsteps retreating, he make his way to the door to get the food his mom dropped. He munched at the sandwiches without pausing. He really was hungry. Sometimes he does not even know what he's doing or feeling unless his mom calls out to him, or point out what he's feeling, his mom would say "You're hurt, what you are doing is crying, those waters are tears, whatever that means. He also sometimes stare blankly for moments unless his mom snap him out of it.
