Unlike her apartment, Aiden’s was completely furnished and looked like the inside of a magazine. It was done in wood and cream and looked expensive, like the owner of the space. The owner of the space was moving around in the kitchen as Casse watched him through the little window, from her seat on his plush sofa.
From the kitchen, Aiden could see Casse surveying his living space. He hadn’t worried about it. The designer had been tasteful, and the set up was flawless. The wood accents matched the cream decor perfectly and was exact to his Grandma’s specs. He lived here, but that was really all. He hadn’t really cared what it looked like as long as it was nice. Now, as he watched Casse look around, he was a little worried about what she might think.
