Chapter Twenty: Settled

The selection process had been easy.

The final choices had come down to a soaking tub that was big enough for two or a nursery that was attached to the master suite.

The attached nursery won, but it wasn’t hands down.

“I feel like, the kids are going to grow out of this room, and we still won’t have a porno-sized soaking tub.” Casse leaned in and whispered to Aiden as the Realtor told them about the crown moldings and natural light. Her eyes were fixed on the freestanding porcelain oval that took up the whole corner of the bathroom.

“Let it go, hon. We need that nursery.” Aiden whispered back. They were really only looking at other places because she was having so much fun.

Casse had loved doing the home search routine. Meeting the owner’s and Realtors. Walking through someone else's dream home was amazing every time. Plus, the decoration ideas were amazing.

“All of the stuff in there will have to go. It’s so very...nondescript. You know?”
