That night I knew the love between me and Alex was still there and it's been stronger since. A few days after that Alex set an appointment up with the doctor to check on the baby which happens to be today. I'm hopeful we can find the gender out today but I'm not sure if I'm far enough along to be able to. I head downstairs to see Alex already ready to go making me giggle slightly at him. "You seem eager." I state as I meet him by the door as he opens it for me and gestures to the officers to begin following us. Ever since we found out I was pregnant, Alex told Officer Jackson who insisted on providing me with more protection which means more officers trailing my every move. "Of course I'm eager, I want to know if I'm getting a son or daughter." He says giddily as he helps me into the passenger seat.
