Sam thought it was over. The nightmare she lived in high school should've stayed in the past, however the past seems to find its way into the present.

The Story Continues

The whole ride silence fills the car making me feel even more uncomfortable. Sensing the tension the air Alex tries to make the best of the ride but I see every time he tries to say something, he doesn't. Eventually we pull up to the diner we were meeting him at and I just sit there for a minute or so until Alex finally says something. "Shorty, are you ready?" He asks me as I stare a head not moving until I slowly start shake my head. "Not really, but I need to do this or I'll only wonder for the rest of my life." I reply to him only getting a light nod in return. Eventually Alex and I get out of the car and I subtly glance behind at the police officers at the far end of the parking lot to see them get out as well and follow us inside making it seem like they are just random officers meeting for lunch or something.
