CHAPTER 4 : BFF NO MORE

Erica and Caleb , this duo has gone through it all , from bunking tuition for movies , catfighting Caleb's cheating girlfriends , giving each other attendance for missing classes to help them go to cute dates . They were always there for each other , during happiness and during vain. Nobody ever thought things would go worse within them , that two friends who tied friendship band every year and swore to do everything together would end up not talking .

Back in school , Erica and Caleb would be shuffled to different classes every year . Erica started dating Ravi in eleventh grade , Caleb didn't like Ravi from the start , he found Ravi like a player , and thought he was just using her . He always tried to tell her , but you see when a teenager likes someone , she sticks to him like glue , and that's what happened . She really liked him . Caleb knew this and always supported her . He never knew that this relationship would last that long .

Caleb always prioritizes Erica , he meant so much to her than she could ever think from. From seeing her everyday to keeping secrets and telling everything to her. He never really knew what she actually was to him . A friend or more than that ....this dumb guy never realized . Caleb always felt empty after Erica started dating , he felt this void of loneliness , when she couldn't give him time . He too started dating girls who he found compatible , but things wouldn't work out in his case , he would still feel the same and some girls would use his quietness as a advantage and cheat on him .

He wouldn't be upset if they broke up with him but he always liked it when Erica would confront those cheating girls and would yell at them , he would always feel secure with her . That made him happy all the time . Erica bounded by her own things wasn't the same as she was. Caleb with usually hangout with Ravi and Erica . Things got uncomfortable between the two guys .

Caleb soon had realized why he felt that void in him , why any girl couldn't make him happy , why he hasn't been able to keep up with his emotions .................. He always liked his bestfriend .........,ERICA . Although he realized it very late , he knew she had feeling for Ravi all along . Ravi tooo knew Caleb liked Erica , This dumb bitch Erica ,knew neither , she always meant Caleb as a friend and kept rooting for Ravi . Caleb didn't want to make things awkward and started distancing from Erica ( any good guy would do that if she was dating ) . Erica never knew why .

One day Erica confronts Caleb , she felt bad , he didn't talk to her .

Erica : why are you acing like a fool , what happened , did I do something , what's going on ?? * patting on his shoulders *

Caleb : ERICA ….. STOPPPP , YOU HAVE A BOYFRIEND !!! *turning away *

Erica : *in shock * what do you mean , are gone nuts .. what …are you high ?

Caleb : I ....I ....I think I like you Erica , I like you , I cant help it . I know u are seeing someone else but after all these years , I never realized what I felt for you , and that you now are not with me makes me want you more and more , I cant help this ...my feelings , these emotions , I cant ..... lets not continue to be friends cause I cant .

Erica : * pulls him over and slaps * what the actual fuck are you talking about !!! you put away all these years of friendship ...... * looks in anger * OKAY , .... LETS NOT BE FRIENDS ANYMORE YOU ASSHOLE , LIVE A GOOD LIFE !!!! *storms out *

Two friends who spoke for hours all along . Cracking jokes with beer and eating late night ice-cream's together , ended their friendship in a matter of two minutes . Vowed to never ditch , were killed with feelings . They actually never spoke , Erica was quite upset , she didn't know what to do , what to say , she felt sad and incomplete . Ravi never understood what Caleb meant to her , Caleb was everything to her . a friend in all times .

Life is unpredictable , Erica never thought she would lose her bestfriend over feelings . She would end up watching pictures and videos of them and would miss Caleb a lot . Ravi started growing apart , things weren't working out , with busy schedules and circumstances . Erica would make sure she would not lose the man she loves and compromising herself for him like a fool only at the end to get dumped on new years eve !!!!

She wouldn't have let him live in peace at all for breaking her heart .
