Their story started with something that both didn't know where it would lead them. He just wanted her as soon as he set his eyes on her the first time. Aaron kidnapped Alice when she saw him in the dark alley while returning from one of her friend's party. She didn't think that helping someone will end her up being kidnap by her own kind. That's right!
Alice was a vampire, a half-vampire, and half-human to be exact. She didn't know about her biological parents. The only paternal affection she got was from her adoptive parents who loved her no less than their own child. Alice swore to repay them by protecting and taking care of Epic, her younger sister. However, how can she keep her promise when Epic is in danger's way just because of her.
This left Alice no choice but to surrender to the Vampire Prince, Aaron. She hated his guts for making her feel so weak and helpless. But Alice couldn't keep on hating him when she saw the way he treated her, the importance he gave her every matter, the way he cared for her, and the way he held her. Once she found out they were mates, things started to make sense.

My Half Vampire Mate

My body was in so much pain, it felt like someone was cutting my flesh off bit by bit. While my chest was so tight as if there was a black hole inside it, sucking my heart in and shredding it to pieces. I could sense my soul wilt away with every passing second. It felt like an eternity before the agony I was going through started to lessen and a foreign sensation started to take over my body. My aching body started to numb and I could feel the life coming back to me. I was more alive than ever. 


My fingers twitched and I started regaining control over my limbs fast. My eyes felt heavy but I forced them to open. I had enough of this darkness. It weighed on my heart. During all this pain, I always felt warmth. It told me that someone was waiting for me to come out of this darkness. Now all I wanted was to tear apart this darkness and reach out to the light.
