Chapter 6: Holy Shit

*Jasper's pont of view"

I stared at the sky as it opened and shot out a streak of white light and fire. It was a sight to behold, it was like a God had descended from the the Heavens. And then I heard it, a voice spoke from the flaming light, it said

"NEW WORLD HERE I COME!!! "

It sounded, like an adolescent male. He said... New world? He came from another world? Can it be? Is he the hero of the prophecy?? What perfect timing, now I can die in peace knowing my kingdom would be safe in the hands of the Chosen One.

Alfonses tugs at my hair as though signalling me and he asked

"What is the meaning of this? What is that? "

I smile at him, blood leaking from my mouth and nose

"That, you demon, is th.... the fall of you.... and your De.... mon-G..... God"

I couldn't get my mouth to move properly but at least I passed the message because Alfonses seemed to have this irritated look on his face. He smashed my face into the dirt and raised it slowly, I can feel that that I've already losta massive amount of my already depleted health

"God-king, I will finish you off later. Stay here"

Its not like I can move even if I wanted to, I was constantly losing health from my external and internally bleeding wounds as I was too battle damaged to muster strength to control my legs.

The massive streak of light immediately crashed into the floor close to us, creating a powerful shockwave and wind that blew all around us.

The light and debris settled and I see a man with white hair, dark skin and red eyes. He was wearing a white, loose, long sleeved shirt, black trousers that were tucked into black leather boots. He looks like a demon, a vampire to be exact, but the prophecy never specified what race he would be. I need to tell him, he must kill Alfonses or Hemire is doomed.

"P.... Please.... K.. Kill this... D.. Demon"

Then I pass out.

Zain's point of view

"That was an epic landing!!!! Like i was flying through the air like whoosh, then I hit the ground like bam!!! Crystal did you see that?!! Crystal? "

I look around but I don't see her, "Where'd she go?"

"I'm right here"

Her voice echoed in my head, I then look at my neck and notice the chain with a crystal pendant my father gave me

"Oh, you're not in human form anymore"

I look at the crystal hanging around my neck with my mom's chain as it glowed, its light rising and falling to match the movement of her voice every time she speaks

Man I can't believe it, I fell from more than a thousand feet in the air and I'm unhurt

"I wonder what else I can do. Hm? "

The hairs on my neck stand on edge like a cat's as I feel the presence of someone else observing me or at least trying to observe me from all this debris. I turn to my left and make out a silouhette through the debris. When the dust and debris clear up a bit, I see a dark skinned dude with long ears, red hair, silver eyes. That ear length, he's a demon, a dark elf to be precise. He's actually a dark elf, I'm not dreaming, oh my god. I telepathically talk to Crystal. I really need to come up with a better name for her than just crystal.

[Hey crystal, what do I do now?]

[I dunno, depends on you]

[Can't you at least be of little help to me?]

[*Yawn* I'll be going to sleep, wake me up if anything IMPORTANT happens]

[Damn you, stupid crystal]

[What's that?]

[Nothing, I'm sorry]

The debris then settles entirely

"P.... Please.... K.. Kill this... D.. Demon" I heard a little voice say to me

I instantly snap back to reality and remember the man standing there. I also notice a man in a puddle of blood. He wore an expensive and powerful looking armour, he had golden long hair that was faded grey, he had a crown on his head, is he a king or something?

He seemed to have been beaten really bad. Did this dark elf do it?

[Hey crystal, you said this world is like a game right?]

[I guess you can look at it in that sense, why?]

[How do I check this guy's stats?]

[You can't for now, you're gonna have to learn that. But you can try to feel his danger level. You-]

[I think I might know how to do that]

[Suit yourslf, but whatever you do, be careful]

Earlier I subconsciously felt his presence, if I try to recreate and amplify that feeling, maybe I'll be abe to do this

The demon-elf stood there analysing me, at least it seems like he's not gonna make any moves just yet

I focus on recreating that sensation by closing my eyes and feeling, after a few seconds, I still don't feel anything and then I remebered what one of my anime role models usually did to help him concentrate. I raised my right hand slowly and placed my index and middle fingers on my forehead and began to concentrate.

In less than a second my entire body trembled, I could feel a great fear run through me, forcing me to gulp hard and causing cold sweat to run down my back.

The notifications that appeared at the corner of my vision was not as important as what my new found "Instinct" was screaming into my very being

RUN AWAY

The demon-elf then starts talking

"Who are you"

"Wh....who, m...me?" I stuttered

"Yes, you. You look like a demon, a vampire, but then you give off the aura of a human. A half-breed?"

"Umm, I.... I..."

I couldn't bring myself to say anything under this immense pressure

"CAN'T YOU SPEAK?!"

His voice was like thunder, it was crazy loud and crazy scary, just a little more, just a little more and I'll pee myself

"*Sigh* It iis impossible that you are The Chosen One, you are just some lost child. Killing you will bring me no pleasure"

He then jumped really high and landed on the head of a dragon that I never noticed since my arrival. He then waves his hand and a crimson portal envelopes them both and they vanish

"Holy shit"
