Chapter 2

"Worst day"

"Holy shit!" I was surprised to see my cellphone's time, and I didn't realize that I woke up late. I immediately grab my bathtub gown and take a short shower. I need to make it easy now because this will be the start of my hectic class. I was rush to put my things inside my bag although I didn't dress up yet. I saw Dex's messages on my phone, and I think he will kill me.

From: Dex

[Kcee, are you there? I can't wait for you, so let us meet in school cauze I'm gonna be late for my first class, okay?]

I didn't know what to do because it is so late when I woke up and the traffic is hectic as ever. "Shit, this must be my honorable day. I’m freaking late now. Mom didn't even wake me up!" I breathed as I ran out of the village.

I got to school, and I entirely missed my first major subject this day, so it really gives me a damn shit of mood right now. I walked in quickly, and then I was supposed to sit on my chair yesterday.

"Excuse me." I smashed as I stood on his side.

He had been listening, and it looks like he didn't want to leave my seat, so repeat a little bit calmer. "Excuse me.?" Then he stood up all of a sudden and surprised me because when he stood up, he nearly smacks his lips on me, so I was shuck and slap his face. He was also shocked because of what I did to him, and we were just looking at me like he wanted to kill me instantly, but suddenly our 2nd subject came in quickly, and he really saves my life this day. Biong just walks out and goes to his own spot in the back and sits there, but he is still looking at me like I kill someone. The truth is, I feel like I want to be eaten by an earthquake right now because of the scene I made.

"What noise is this?" Our prof asked and wondered why they were murmuring.

"There's no sir." One of my classmates said. But I want to say that, —Biong behind the obvious tribute to what had happened.

The prof didn't ask questions, and he was content with the response. He started writing on the board. As I turned around, I saw Biong still smiling, my blood suddenly heated, and I almost mocked it in anger.

I'm not sure if I should look back and see what whisperings they have about me. "Fuck them! they weren't stopping, and I think he even told them about what had happened to us." I whispered to myself.

"Hi? I'm Ellie." She introduced herself and smiled at the same time. She also reached out to shake hands with me. I was embarrassed to talk to her, but I'll look rude if I didn't reach and smile at her, so just do it and talk to her.

I smile and introduce myself too. "Hi. I'm Kaycee Ong." I feel kind and easy to accomplish. I never thought I would have a friend.

Then suddenly, I’ve notice that I am still thinking of him even though he was a brat, and I hate what happened today because of Biong. Honestly, he has something about his personality that attracts you to look at him. His face was so beautiful that it seemed like his origins were so beautiful too. His eyes would attract you immediately like there is no tomorrow because of his light brown eye and pointed nose. He was like a god that if you fall for him, you will never feel ending.

And then, Ellie spoke again, so it made me stop my thoughts about Biong and clear my mind.

"Are you all right?" Ellie ask me. I think she was wondering what I am thinking now. I was smiling and being pushed out suddenly because of what had happened earlier.

"Ahhh... I didn't remember anything." I told him while I was embarrassed by the expression on my face.

Later, our class was finish, and it is our break time. I stood out because I wanted to first outside and get out of the room. It was right that when I stood up, Ellie asked if she could go with her and eat outside together.

"Kaycee." She called me when I was about to leave, and then she asks me. "Can I join?" She smiled at me. I respond quickly because I also want to know her more, and I feel like she will be my friend until we graduate. And also it is too boring for me if I don't find any friends.

"Sure... why not?" I said and smiled at her too.

When are about to enter the canteen I saw my dude. "Dex! come here. I'll introduce you to my friend." I call Dex sitting beside the canteen so that I can introduce Ellie to him. "Dex, she's Ellie, and Ellie he's Dex, my best friend." Ellie and Dex shake their hands and smile at each other. I feel like they look like a couple if they stick together.

I asked Dex if he wants to spend his time with us because I know it is his break time, so why not ask him to eat with us.

Out of the blue, I ask Ellie if she knows Biong. I don't intend to know about his life. I just want to have some kinda sort of information if I need to avoid him or never bother myself to think about him. "Do you know Biong?"

"No. I'm sorry." She spoke and also asked me a question. "Do you like him?"
