Chapter 17

Its saturday!!! And it's close to Monday and since Monday is tommorow it is a another headache, it's good thing I'm really hardworking. Jowk!

Since I had nothing to do and it was still early, I just opened my webnovel app and read. It's so boring.

I was in the middle of reading when there was a knock on the door. Who is that?

I got up and walked to our door, when I opened it I didn't expect to see my grandmother.

I looked at Grandma with a smile, "Grandma!" And hugged. "I miss you grandma." I said passionately before parting in a hug.

She also smiled at me. "Daughter, how are you here?" She asked as we went inside.

I shrugged. "Just fine grandma." I sat in the chair and so did she. "But grandma im so stressed! Seriously! A lot of school works."

She nodded. "You have school tomorrow, don't you?"

I nodded. "Yes, why?" I asked in astonishment.

She smiled sadly. "My boss want to know you as well as the family I work for."

I looked at my grandmother in shock. "Really?"

She nodded. "Yes daughter, they are all there and waiting for us."

I was confused. "Grandma, I hope you texted me early so that they wouldn't have to wait." I got up and said goodbye to grandma to get dress.

We are very grateful to the family where my grandmother works because they have helped us a lot.

Although I haven't met them yet because I'm also busy with my study's so when their family invites us to have dinner we can't do it because if I'm not awake doing something, I fall asleep tired.

I just wore a white V-neck shirt and pants and rubber shoes----those shoes were a gift from my grandmother when I was fourteen-----and left the room.

I saw grandma who was already at the door and she was waiting so I came over and looked at grandma with a smile.

"Grandma." She also looked at me and smiled sadly so I lost my smile with her reaction. "Grandma, are you in pain?" I asked worriedly.

She shook her head. "No daughter, let's go and they're already waiting for us."

She walked first so I didn't do anything, I checked if I already had the cellphone, wallet and key, when I checked I locked the door and ran to follow grandma.

When we walked out of the gate, I didn't expect that there would be a car waiting outside. It's black if I'm not mistaken, it's called a luxury car but I'm not sure.

Astonished I looked at grandma walking towards the car, she stopped walking when she saw me stop.

"Come on daughter, they're already waiting. You don't want them to wait, do you?" I just nodded and came closer.

Grandma and I got in the back seat and a driver was in front of us and in the passenger seat was the man who opened the door for us. Oh we look like were rich!

I just looked out the window because grandma doesn't say a word. Ten minutes later I saw a very large house.

The size is staggering, and it's like you can't go around here for a week! Super huge.

The car went inside and I saw even more how big it was. There are people cutting plants, there are also watering and so on.

That garden is very big and the it's on the both sides of our path---we are in the middle---then at the end there is a fountain there and the path will be round.

When the car turned around, I saw even more how big the house was-wait! This house? But it's more like a palace.

We were going down at the car and I looked at this palace in shock. "Anya shut your mouth."

Suddenly I closed my mouth that I did not realize was already open to my great admiration.

We went inside while the car went to the left side of the palace.

As soon as you enter, you know that the people are rich because from the furniture, vases, chandeliers, red carpet, stairs, and walls, they are really rich.

On the right side is their living room which is very big and has a lot of chairs like sofas, there is also a flat screen TV, in the back you can see the swimming pool---I saw it because it has a sliding door that is glass.

On the left side there is a door that I don't know what is inside and next to it, in total of three doors.

In front is a huge and very beautiful staircase with a red carpet and at the top is the chandelier in the middle, at the top.

Grandma walked to a door in the middle so I followed. When Grandma opened the door, it was just another dining area that was very long.

On the right side again there is a door that looks like that kitchen. "Be kind Anya." Grandma whispered to me. So I nodded immediately.

We walked to the very first part of the table, well it's just me but that's my feeling, that.

I immediately realized that there were people there, they stood up and when we got closer my grandmother bowed so that's what I do as well.

"Good morning señorita, señorito and masters." Grandma greeted them when I wondered who was there, I looked and looked at them one by one.

There's a guy at the far end of the table, I think he's in his fourthy. On the right is a woman, she is beautiful like the man in front is handsome even though they look old you still can't deny that they are beautiful and handsome.

On the left side are three men, and next to the one at the very end I feel like he's in his twenties and the two look like twins because they have the same height, the same face and the same posture.

The cute thing is if they are twins, I am cute to those who have twins. They’re just cute.

The woman smiled at us before also greeting and introducing herself. "Good morning too Louisa, thank you and you brought her here." She's more beautiful when smiling.

"Yes señorita, this is Anya." Grandma introduces me.

I smiled shyly at them. "G-go-good morning." Their looks are intimidating.

Señorita laughed a little so I bowed, embarrassed. "I'm Amirah," she pointed at the man in front of the table. "He's my husband Adriel." He then pointed to the three men on the left. "They're my kids, Adrian is my eldest and Josh and John. They're twins."

I smiled before nodding simply. "Nice to meet you." The señorita smiled.

She gestured to the chair. "Sit down." Grandma sat one seat between señorita so I sat next to grandma which would be two seats between señorita.

When we sat down I just bent down and pinched my finger. I can see out of the corner of my eye the men looking at me. Why? Do I have dirt on my face?

I bent down even more, good thing the table was a bit high so I could hide in the table.

They are all tall because they can reach the table, they seem to be tall in their race.

The señorita applauded and suddenly the staff came out with food, because there were so many of them.

There was a plate on the table so no problem, they had already placed the food in front of us. I was just looking when one of the twins who was smiling and looking at me so I was ashamed of what I did and just hid again.

The señorita smiled and thanked those who brought food to the table. With so much of it, you'll be really amazed at how delicious it looks. I don't know the names there because they look expensive.

"Don't be shy." The oldest said to me so they all looked at me except grandma. So I was even more embarrassed.

I'm a very mean womaj but I'm shy with people that new to me. The head of their family smiled at me. "Let's eat?" They all nod and began to get food.

I, on the other hand, got out of hiding and surprised myself that I could reach the table. Grandma also started eating so even though I was embarrassed, I just took it.

I took the food in front of me----I know it's called----tempura.

I just took a little because I was embarrassed especially since they were all looking at the action I was going to do.

There were a lot of spoons and forks with knives so I looked at them confused. Why so many of them? They can just one spoon. I know it's small for dessert but I don't know which one is for the meal.

"The bigger one." Another of the twins said that he didn't even look at me and looked rude.

"T-thank you." I said thank you and start eating. It's good that the other twin always smiles at me when he looks at me.

I just smiled back because his smile was really nice to me. One of the twins has a straight face and the other, the eldest, looks serious.

They are scary to become a family, you can add that they are all men when someone just wan't to be your girlfriend and came to your house, they all just back-out because they are all men.

After eating----I ate only a little because I was embarrassed----their mother looked at me again so I bowed.

"Yaya!" She calls a nanny of theirs. Suddenly an old woman approached us.

"What about that miss?" It says politely.

"Take Anya to the garden first," is that a garden? It's like a farm with too much space. "And take her for a walk at the whole house."

The woman nodded before approaching me. "Let's go?"

I stood up and said goodbye to them before following the woman in front of me. When we got out and the door closed I was relieved. It was as if the thorn in my throat had disappeared when I got out.

"Here we are." We went out the door and walked to what "they" called garden.

We were just starting to walk when someone called the woman who was also wearing a maid's uniform.

"I need you there." It pointed to the far left side of the house.

"Aren't there many of you there already?"

"Yes, but it's better if you do go too."

"The señorita command me to do something---" before she could finish what she was going to say, I preceded her.

So their attention went to me. "I'm fine, maybe it's important."

"But---"

I smiled. "It's okay, I'll just go back inside."

"Are you sure?" The woman asked.

I nodded with a smile on my face so they left and hurried to go there, I went in again and just went to the living room.

It's not bad if I sit down, is it? When I arrived, I didn't just sit down because I saw picture frames there.

The first thing I saw was the twins---they looked like they were still young here---hugging each other while smiling as well as the other picture.

It looks like the rude twin were smiling before. Next is the couple, they are cute there.

Then came the three men who were smiling with great joy and holding hands and then there was a girl in front of them who seemed to be crying. It's so cute.

Then there were only three men in formal attire while smiling.

Next is just one picture, the first is the eldest is Kuya Adrian---kuya because he is older than me---he's hands in his pocket and looking at the camera seriously.

The next one is that one of the twins is Josh because there his name at the bottom of the frame. He's smiling at the camera while also hands on the pocket.

Next was John straight face he was just looking at the camera. Now I know who Josh and John are.

Next, the whole family was there and then the señorita was holding a little girl. They had so much fun in the picture.

I wish I had a family like that, they are very lucky. I smiled sadly before looking at the last picture.

That was the girl on señorita's lap. She is cute chubby and you will notice if she grows up, she's a beautiful woman.

I was surprised to see. Why does the picture look familiar? I looked more closely and thought about where I had seen the picture when someone speak behind me.

"What are you doing here?" I shrugged in shock so I turned around to see who it was.

To my surprise it was John. "Ahhmmm....what...just looking at the picture, sorry." I said and bowed.

"Well you don't have the rights." It really hurts when he speaks. I just bowed even more.

"S-sorry." I apologize.

"John! What are you doing? My man?" Josh asked looking like he was just about to arrive. I found out that's Josh because they have the same voice.

"Nothing." I even felt him look at me before leaving.

"What happened there?" He asked himself before facing me. "Did you know?"

"W-what...I'm looking at the pictures and he's just got angry at what I did." Embarrassed I said.

He looked behind me and nodded so I looked at him. "That's why."

I looked at him in surprise. "W-why?" Embarrassed, I still asked.

He also looked at me. "The girl is our youngest sister, she's the only girl so we're very excited when we find out that mommy is pregnant with a girl." He smiled sadly. "So even she's just a baby we were taking care of her, we also spoiled her, especially John." Then it bowed and laughed as if he remembered something. "John was so happy that even though he's just got home from school he always finds our sister."

I smiled. "How cute."

He nodded and laughed. "We're so happy because he came into our lives, we're happy before but it seems like were happier when she comes." He sighed and looked at me sadly. "But someone took her when we take for a walk, John was the last one with her so dad blamed him for the loss of the our youngest." He suddenly glanced up so I also looked there where John walk too. "Since then he hasn't laughed or even smiled like before. He always blames himself for the loss of the youngest."

He looked at me again because I was the same. "I'm sorry, if I only knew."

He smiled. "It's okay. Have you been around yet?" He change the subject.

I shook my head. "No, not yet." I said politely.

He smiled. "Come on, I'll just take you around."

His smile was contagious so I smiled too and nodded at him. We went out and he really toured me.

At twelve o'clock we finished touring the whole garden, it was too big so we reach the lunch.

We went inside and we caught up with grandma and their parents in the living room waiting, maybe.

Josh's smiles faded as he looked at grandma. "I'm going up to my room." He said last and went upstairs.

The señorita sighed. "You'll have to be patient with them Louisa." Señorita said sadly.

"I understand señorita." Grandma said sadly. I didn’t see Kuya Adrian there.

I approached and gently bowed. "Good afternoon."

They also smiled at me. "Good afternoon too Anya."

"We're leaving, I'll just give you what you need." Grandma stood up.

The couple also stood up. "We'll expect that." They shook hands before we left the palace.

The same car drove us again and we were both quiet and grandma seemed to be thinking deeply so I just let her go.

When we arrived at the barangay gate, I thanked them and walked to the house.

Until we got home Grandma was still silent. I opened the door and grandma came in first and sat in chair at the table.

"Ahhmmm....grandma, I just wanna asked if why Josh is like that with you---I mean Kuya Josh." She looked at me and sighed.

"Nothing Anya, nothing." She said before standing up and approaching me. "I hope you don't get mad at me after what happens."

Surprised, I nodded. "Yes lola."

She smiled. "That family...." She hung up before shaking his head.

I looked at my grandmother in amazement, I would have asked what she would say when she turned her back on me and went to the restroom.

My forehead furrowed as I followed her gaze.
