The truth.

The rain was now just tiny droplets drizzling on us, I looked at him, for one his closeness now felt good and comfortable, "um-" he was cut off by the buzz of our phones.

I reached for it, it was an email. I looked up and saw the small pale boy bitting his lower lip. Eyes focused on the shinning screen. For some reason I felt flushed when he saw me dancing earlier.

God what he must be thinking.

I shake the odd thoughts and look at the mail.

It was from school, they were apparently taking us to New Jersey for some other school all the are gonna get the information about it tomorrow.

I looked up to see a very confused boy, "What is it Neeks?" I said smiling softly. He looked up at the nick name, I swear I saw pink tint on his cheeks. "U-um isn't it too early for a tournament. "

Well he ain't wrong, never before an inter-house has happened so early. "And that to in New Jersey. " I whispered. All the championships happen in our school it being the Homebranch.

I squinted my eyes, I don't know why but my gut feeling says that something is connecting with the whispers and this weird championship.

"Hey perce. Can I ask you something? " Nico asked, getting one step closer. Now we both were directly under the crystal white street light.

He licked his lips. And looked me in the eye. "What did you meant by 'its happening again'. And who were the people whispering." He stepped even closer. Our noses just inches apart. Forcefully he placed a finger on my chest. "And do not tell me you don't know. "

I looked in his eyes to find pure determination, why the hell does he care.

He is not backing down anytime soon.

Nor am I telling him the truth.

Well,

Shit.
