Pain.
That's all I can feel. It feels like a fire is burning from the inside out.
"AAAAAAAHHHHHH!!" Falling to my knees, I scream out all the pain. But it doesn't help, it doesn't help the agony and misery I feel right now. Unfortunately, my little stunt had it's consequences.
"Roxy?!" Ronan's voice is heard followed by his footsteps as he descends the stairs.
"No! Don--" I am too late. He freezes in his tracks, taking in the scene before him with a look of horror. But when his wandering eyes land on our parents lifeless bodies he falls to his knees and bursts into tears. I quickly wrap my arms around him and shield his eyes.
"Ronan! Come back! Roxy said not to go anywhere!" Rolland's voice draws closer as he too starts descending the stairs as well.
"No! Don't come down!"
"Are you guys okay?!" He yells, worry evident in his tone.
"We're fine! Don't worry about us! Just go back!" I assure, there's silence before a tired sigh is heard followed by retreating footsteps.
