FALLING 4: STUPID BUT NO

JULIET’S POV

My head.

Ouch, it hurts like hell. Where am i? why does it smell so manly in here? Am I in my room? No no no, I don’t have a flat screen tv and surely my room is not color black and white only.

The bed is so soft, wait, my bedsheet is color pink not white! Where the hell am i?

“where is my phone?” I looked for my bag and I found it on my table. Took my phone. “wait.” I looked back again at the side table. That’s not my picture and I am pretty sure that’s not my mom. Wait wait wait. I slowly looked back and there! Oh my goodness gracious mama mia! That is my boss!

“Romeo standford?!”

“correct.”

“OH MY GOD SIR ROMEO!!” I shouted out of shock. He is in front of me, wearing white polo with one unbutton, fixing his necktie and shit! He is so handsome fresh from the bath!

I covered my face and closed my eyes, I am at my boss’s house? How does this happened? I am with sir pao and gale! Oh my ghad I can’t remember shit!

“if you are covering your face out of embarrassment, don’t be. Thanks to you I now know what a puke smells.” Did I just heard him right? I puked on him? This is insane! I am so stupid!

“please sir,” I closed both of my palm and got down on my knees on the bed. “don’t fire me! I can’t really remember what happened last night. I know it’s so disrespectful but if you will give me another chance I won’t take it for granted.”

Oh my oh my! I can’t be fired! How about my sister? She still needs me! Where can I find job after this? “

“get up and do me some coffee then you can go home.” He said.

“wait sir.” He stopped and looked at me. I am so red right now with that look on his face! Even though it’s a cold stare.

“what?”

“why did I sleep here on your bed not on the guess room?” I asked. He chuckled and approached me very closely. I lean away from him and trying to avoid his stare. Oh gosh! My face is so hot and so red right now!

“sir-“

“you were suppose to be on the guess room because that’s where I put you but you woke up in the middle of the night and screaming outside my room begging me to let you in. l let you in then you lay down on this bed, my bed, sleeping like a baby. So I was forced to sleep in the guess room in honor to your dramatic request. Understand?” I was quiet for a moment, he stood up and stand in front of me.

“yes sir. W-where is the ki-kitchen?” I asked.

“Rosa is outside, approach her. Do it fast and go home” I let him go first before I go. But I screamed at the pillow first then left.

What a stupid thing I did! Oh my gosh! I puked on him, then I screamed at him, sleep at his bed! This is so madness!

OFFICE

I was having my coffee and checking on the emails of my boss and I can’t stop thinking about what really happened last night. I mean I can never be drunk ever again!

“girl!” gale.

“girl?! Tell me what happened to me last night? Why did I ended up in my boss’s house?! Tell me!” I said.

“chill out girl! Okay, I will tell you but first the organizer gave me this documents and a small paper.” She handed me the documents and a small paper.

“what’s this small paper?”

“she said its for the boss.”

“oh okay. So what happened?”

“so you got drunk right? We tried to settle you down you know together with sir pao—“

“wait wait. I remember one specific detail last night gale, you and sir—“ she put her finger on my mouth. “shhh, I didn’t happened jules, you didn’t saw it. The story is about you not me or us.”

“okay just get to the point I have to go there and give this to him.” I said. “alright you sneaked out with us because you said something about dinner night with sir romeo and her mom. Then you left without notifying us.”

“that’s it? That’s all you know?”

“girl I didn’t get the chance to follow you because me and—“

“shh shh! Okay I don’t want to remember that again. Thank you for that information. Go now and I’ll be on my own misery here.” I grabbed the documents and small paper and breathe in because I am so nervous with this.

“sir here—“ I stopped when I saw him sleeping on the coach. He is like an angel sleeping like that. I’m just going to comeback later.

“what it is jules?” I stopped from walking and faced him immediately. “the organizer passed by to give you these documents about the big event, the designs, everything you need to know is there. Then she leave this small paper with her personal number.” He took the documents but the small paper.

“Throw It away, I don’t like that girl anyway.” Then he sat on his chair and read the documents. I need to make it right.

“sir if there is anything that I can do for you to forgive me please let me know. I know it’s stupid I mean for what I did but hopefully you forgive me.”

“shopping. You go shopping with my mom I don’t want to waste my time for that by then I might forgive you for the puke thing, screaming at me and desperate sleep.” He said. I closed my eyes while he is saying that.

“might? Sir?” he glared at me. “okay sir thank you.”

“now jules she is waiting on her car.”

“okay sir but how about—“

“I can manage myself for few hours that you’re not here. Go” he is really so cold. Ugh. When he will ever change? Good thing he is so handsome and gentle. Wait what? I am stupid after all I think.

MALL

I am here with madam chairwoman or mrs. SF, hearing all of her stories and carrying some of her shopping bags. We’ve been here for an hour but she doesn’t give up. But my heels is killing me now.

“dear, you should shop for yourself. You want jewels? Dress? Shoes? Bags?” she said. I shaked my head. “no mam I am okay.” I smiled.

“no no no! I insist jules, please do it for me if you don’t want to do it for yourself. This is just my way of thanking you for taking care of my son. Go ahead. Pick anything you want.”

Of course I couldn’t say no anymore if I insist it might be the end of my career. “okay mam.” I smiled.

I look around to see if I can see something that I can use you know not just to display. “oh I like this.” I took the cute bag and check the price. My eyes suddenly opened, “300 dollars?” I whispered.

“you like that?” mrs SF asked. “umm, sure. This one.” I said. The sales lady took it from me, “anything else, darling?” mrs. SF asked.

“no mam that’s it. Im just plain and simple girl.” Oh I hope she will not insist anymore. “I heard there’s a good bakery shop here my son told me. Lets go there okay?”

“yes mam.”

We head over to the bakery shop, I think mrs. SF loves bread more than I do. Yup, I love breads specially the one that my auntie always made for us.

“Juliet?” I looked behind me and its him, Erick.

“what are you doing here?” I asked.

“buying breads. Can we talk? I really need to talk to you. please?” he said. I look at mrs. SF who is now talking to the owner of the shop I think.

“what do you mean talk Erick? There’s nothing we can talk about. We are done” I said. He hold my wrist. “let go of me, erick”

“listen to me , babe, please! I want you back!”

“oh my ghad we are over!” I tried to push him but he is still holding my hand. “Juliet I need you in my left! Don’t just give up on us!”

I chuckled, “you need me? Or just my money? Im already awake Erick, I will never go back to sleep and be with you again.” I said and left him but he run after me and hold my hands again.

“please Juliet!1 just give me another chance to prove to you that I love you for real!” oh my ghad this guy is really unbelievable.

“no! never! Yes I may be stupid for other things but I am not stupid enough to be with you again! We are never ever getting back together as what taylor swift said! Bye!” then I run again.

Oh no! mrs. SF!

I hide from the plants to see if Erick is still at the bake shop. Good thing mrs. SF is still there but I don’t see Erick anymore. So quickly move and get inside the shop.

“babe!” again! My gash! He is now forcing me to come with him. What is this guy?! “let go of me Erick! You’re hurting me!” I shouted. “no I wont! Be mine!”

“SHE SAID LET GO!” someone grabbed me hard from Erick and hold my waist. Who is this? “sir romeo?” I said. “this is what I hate about boys. Disrespecting girls. Get lost before I ban you again from this store.” In a serious tone he said.

Erick run away from us, then mrs. SF approached us. “are you okay dear? Who is that guy?” she said. “im fine mam.” I said.

“good thing you are here son! Why are you here? I thought you hate shopping?” mrs SF said. “I’ll have my lunch here. You guys is taking too long to shop.” He rolled his eyes.

“then why don’t we have lunch together? The three of us” she said. “no mam im okay. I’ll have my lunch with my co-worker.” I said.

“no no no Juliet, you are still with me until I get out of this store. So were are we eating?” she smiled and put her arms around my arm and sir romeo’s too.

“I have a reservation there at the seafood restaurant.” He said. He is fine with this set up? I am not! Hello!

“okay good choice! Let’s go!” I have no choice but to be here.

NIGHT

I was having coffee at the terrace of my room when I heard my sister came in. she looks sad and have a problem. “what’s the matter?” I asked.

“I saw him cheating on me today.” I looked at her and now she is crying. Seriously? With my sister too? “did you break up with him or you just walked away from it?” I asked.

“I broke up with him and I threw the ring at him.” I hugged her and kissed her forehead. “that is why you should focus at your school from now on, don’t ever get in love first. It will just ruin you.”

“how about you and erick?” she asked.

“we broke up and he cheated too.”

“you are finally awake? Congrats sister!”

I rolled my eyes at her, “your birthday is near, you might want to think what country you would like to visit.”

She gasped and looked at me, “no way for reals?” she said. “yes just pass your exams and we will do it. Travel dream of yours.”

“omg yes my beautiful sister! I won’t let you down!” she shouted and jumping around. Then leaves my room.

“goodnight, sis. You will find the true love someday and will surely fall to you deeply.” She smiled.

“you too. Goodnight.” I smiled.

I will just now focus with my work and with my sister, she is the most important person to me right now. Im just gonna think love next time. Not now.
