Graduation

How many times have life given me shit? I don’t know. How many times have I been at the wrong side of the coin? I can’t count.

There are more than 7 billion people on the planet and I was the only one that was chosen to experience these bizarre things. Maybe I wasn’t the only one but then the question still remains, why me?

I felt like I was standing at the shore of the sea with nothing but a surfer board. That should do something right? But then I couldn’t surf. So, I just kept looking at the waves tousle and fight over and over again.

“Tamar Konni”.

I got up from my seat while adjusting my graduation cap to walk to the make-shift podium.

“award for the best in biology”.

The applause got louder and a few whistles were heard as I increased my pace along the isle to the podium.

“well done” the beaming principal said while giving me my prize and also handing me my diploma because of time.
