Chapter 5

Celestine got curious on them. She doesn't know what Dayl is thinking. She realizes that there are many things she didn't know about Dayl. She didn't know if she had the right to ask him. But they are just married without love. This is just a agreement between them.

"Everyone this is Daniel. Your new team leader here", the HR announced.

"Miss", he caught the attention of Celestine who is dumbfounded in her situation. "Miss",

"Yes! I'm sorry sir. I am not in my state of mind",

"Can you show where is the copying machine?" He said. She notice that the HR is already left. And they are now working.

"No sir! This is my job", she said while getting the papers from him.

"No! This is heavy. Just show me where is it", he insisted.

"This is way sir",

And they make their way to the copying machine. While they are making copies of paper. Celestine's mind is flying again.

"I'm Daniel by the way", he lend his hand to her just to caught her attention.

"Ah! Celestine sir", she held his hand.

"Can I call you Tin? Celestine is too long to pronounce", he said.

"If you are comfortable with Tin. Its ok for me", she answered.

When they are done they went back to their office. On they way they met Dayl.

"Good morning sir", Daniel greeted.

Dayl stopped and looked Celestine who is holding a box.

"Good morning sir", Celestine greeted also. They give way to pass Dayl. When Dayl surpasses them they walked again to go back on their way to the office.

"If you need anything sir! Just call me", Celestine said.

Dayl had a meeting with Ryan. In Ryan's office you can watch people pass by. From there you can see the table of Celestine. Dayl is watching Celestine with her new manager working together

"He said.....", Ryan is busy talking while Dayl is not listening. "Bro..",

"Yes",

"Are you listening? I am talking here for almost 30 minutes now", Ryan complains.

"Who is the new manager from the finance department?" He asked while looking outside.

"I don't know", Ryan said and looked outside too. "You know what the long time I've been working here. I didn't notice her. She is nice to everyone. With her simplicity, she can make men fall in love so easily", Ryan said while looking to Celestine. "By the way, she will come along with me this weekend",

"Why?"

"She's good on being a secretary", Ryan said.

"You can have her", Dayl said.

"I am planning to make her my secretary", Ryan is teasing Dayl.

"If thats all. I'm going I still have a meeting", Dayl stands and leave Ryan's office. He is walking towards to Celestine and Daniel.

"Miss Garcia", he said. Celestine stands up to face him.

"Yes sir!",

"Come to my office", and then walks away.

"Lets eat lunch later", he heard Daniel said to Celestine.

"Ok sir!", Celestine answered.

She followed him in his office. She tought that he calls her just to make a coffee for him. She went her way to the coffee machine.

"Celestine",

"Yes sir!",

"Who is he?",

She overthinking now. She thinks He's asking because he is jealous. She smiled a little.

"I am just warning you. Don't make friends to anyone. They are just using you against me",

The smile on her face fade off.

"He's name was Daniel. This his first day.", Celestine answered.

"And don't be too nice to everyone. They will misinterpret it",

"Yes sir! Thats all sir. Can I go back to work?"

"Yes!",

She feels so uneasy. She feels like there is a needle in her heart. . She went to the bathroom.

"Celestine put this in your mind. You are not a real wife. You are just married with an agreement. Ok", she is pointing herself in the mirror. "Don't fall to someone you don't know",

She went back to her department. They don't have much work to do. She is just sitting all day long.

Its already 5:00 pm and its time to go home. All the employees got home. She is walking in the lobby when Daniel is running towards her.

"Come on! I'll get you home",

"No thanks! I will just take a taxi", she refuse.

"Come on.. besides I have something to do in your place", he said

"In my place? Do you know where I live?",

"Yes! Our colleagues said it to me", he said.

She is now curious why she knew where she lives.

"I have something to do. Next time ok! Bye",

Why does he know where she lives? Who is Daniel?

Outside the building, Celestine is waiting for a taxi. When a car stopped in front of her. She already knew that it was Dayl. She looked around if they are people. Daniel is watching her along with their co-workers. So she pass Dayl's car. She call a taxi and gets in.

When she is riding a taxi. She gets off far away from their house. She entered the gate and saw Dayl's car. She went inside the house and saw Dayl cooking. She runs toward him and looked what he is cooking..

"Wow... ",

"Lets eat", she sits and waiting for the food. Dayl serve her food. She taste the food, she spits it out. "Why you don't like it?", Dayls ask.

"I have allergies in spicy food",

"Oh, sorry", Dayl takes milk and give it to her. Celestine drank the milk.

"Its ok.. you don't know it", she said. That's the reason why you will not fall in love for him. They don't know each other.

"Whats your favorite? I will cooked it for you", he asked.

"Its......", Then someone call him. He takes the call and went outside.

"Its adobo", she said while looking at Dayl outside

. She went upstairs to go to bed tho she didn't eat dinner.

While she's on the bed. She's reflecting on her situation.

She got up from the bed and said.

"I not let myself hurt on this situation. I will make sure Dayl will fall in love with me. We will become a true couple",
