When he sent the message that he might come home late because of some work in his office, I felt even more weak. Watching the lipstick on top of the side table in our bedroom I exhaled deeply and then went out of the room.
"Ana."
She was sitting in the living room, as I told her that if has nothing more to do, she can watch TV and relax.
"Don't bother making dinner, Mister Brussel will not come home to eat."
She nods and then looks at me. "But what about you ma'am? Don't I need to make dinner for you?"
I shook my head. "No, it's alright. I can just have a sandwich when I'm hungry. But I don't think you need to cook anything for me if you want to leave you can go home early."
I look at the time on my wristwatch it's already a quarter to five in the afternoon and she can leave early if there is nothing else to do. "Oh, thank you, ma'am. Then I'll just go ahead, and I'll see you tomorrow."
"Alright, thank you for today as well Ana. See you tomorrow!"
