Chapter Twenty Four

The beast was out and not a moment too soon as Rishio had only an hour left before the Second's Day Test was over. Carefully approaching the knocked-out beast, yey held yey'r breath at every whine, groan or shuffle from the beast, and finally after what seemed like hours of tiptoeing to the beast, Rishio got as close as yey was comfortable with.

With the beast at arm's reach, Rishio stepped on a twig to test whether the beast could be roused, all yey got as a reply from the beast were short huffs of breaths, assuring Rishio that the beast was out.

Letting out a breath that yey did not know yey had held, Rishio got closer to the beast so as to examine her wound, her height was convenient to Rishio as the beast's wound was at yey'r chest's height, pulling the arrow out would need less effort.
