I asked the nurse I came across while heading towards Alex's room. 


" She's conscious but she isn't responding to anything or anyone. She's just staring into space " 


" The little girl is traumatised. She just lost her father " 


The nurse said before she walked away while I entered the hospital room. 


The first thing I noticed was Caolan's child on the hospital bed, staring into space. 


I approached her and sat down at the edge of the bed. 


She didn't even blink, nor reply and I sighed, massaging my forehead. 


I asked and she shook her head before staring at me. 


I avoided her eyes because of how deeply she stared at me. 


This kid was intimidating without her even knowing it.
