Chapter Seventeen-Kenna

"Haden," Agatha said, her face paling as she looked at her youngest son, "how much did you hear?"

"Enough." He replied without looking at her. His eyes remained on me and I felt glued to the spot as he walked closer. "How much do you remember?" He demanded as he stopped in front of me.

"All of it," I said honestly; I couldn't lie to him. Not again.

He kept his gaze on me for a few moments longer before turning to Agatha. It was hard not to shrink away from the storm raging behind his eyes.

He spoke calmly, his voice cold and devoid of emotion, "You knew all this time."

She could do nothing but nod in response, stunned into silence as he continued to speak, "You knew she was back the whole time, you saw how I suffered the night I found her and still you said nothing!" He shouted and she flinched back.

I walked up to him and placed a hand on his chest, trying to calm him down.
