She is a direct descendant of Archangel Michael, making her blood the only key that can free a vicious prince of Hell, Asmodeus.
Book 1 of this fantasy series saw Nora coming to terms with her new identity as a Seraph while escaping hordes of demons from hell on her heels, with the help of her new friends and love.

SERAPHS: THE AWAKENING

Breakfast was rushed and chatty. Roman wouldn't stop asking everybody at the dining what happened by the lake. Max could not take the nagging anymore and blurted out everything to him. It was a lot to catch up on. Attack by a fire demon, Nora killing it and turning their lake into an inverted waterfall. The deduction by Seth that Nora was an elemental and the letter from Deacon Darius requesting Nora's attendance at the assembly of the Synod that morning. Roman's eye flung open when Max told him Nora was an elemental. He had one more reason to call Nora an alien. After breakfast, the Bloomfields and Nora prepared to leave home at once. 


"Why do we have to leave the house before opening a Nethergate?" Nora asked Max as they footed it to the Manor's outer gate.
