Frost blew past them as the four jumped through the mirror. They landed on fully white porcelain tile that formed a platform in midair. Or rather one would say mid-frost due to the thickness of the air.
As far as the eye could see it was all white. Other platforms were seen in the distance. None were reachable. A giant white statue stood out with an eye on the world of the living.
"Careful," said Logan, "It's common for gods and celestials alike to possess statues as Agrat did".
The cool atmosphere itself was just a ruse. The temperature was neither hot nor cold. The curse that tormented them mere seconds ago was now lifted. Despite the calming nature, Vanessa had one thing to say.
"Logan," she said, "No matter what happens, good game".
His smile trickled up to an embarrassment. He gave both Mina and Vanessa a hug, assuring that it's been a good game alongside them. It was this side of Logan that gave Vanessa butterflies.
