Next Month's Reward

In the far back of the in-air city, Director Larz stood, watching the race. Jeff and Logan swung by, asking him how he liked the party. The Director thought it was all great. Given their performance at the Spring Event, the air party, and Logan's feud with Pattie, he expected to get many new players.

Pattie walked in on the little chat as Logan began berating many of the "new players" at the party. With the three now present, The Director felt comfortable in passing on the intended news before Logan and Pattie could start arguing.

He informed them that there would be a guest coming to the stadium for the April Event. If the stadium can beat the event, there will be rewards for the stadium and it's players.

Jeff merely nodded whereas Logan was excited to know who was the special guest. Though a solid answer wasn't given, Director Larz confirmed that it was one that would excite many players, including Logan.

"What kind of rewards are we looking at?" asked Jeff.

Pattie sneered, "Listen to you two wanting all of the glory without any work".

Logan snapped towards her, "Ya' know your girls aren't going to keep pulling your slack much longer".

Before the two could continue their argument, the Director made clear that it would be up to the guest as to what those rewards would be.

Logan smirked, "Well, I know the top three wishes to make".

"I bet you do," smiled Director Larz.

Jeff was a little worried, "Well, I hope it involves some money because we need it for the pro leagues. And you know my situation".

Energy from Logan's nod was felt, "First, we need a Alice in Wonderland Cosplay party with private booking for central teams. Next, we need a good old fashion gun theme to be held in the final week of May with free training leading up to it throughout the month".

Director Larz nodded, "That ain't bad".

"Where's the cash?" asked Jeff?

Logan smirked, "In the stadium every weekend. You need to play and do more if you want to make a living here. Besides, I shouldn't be the one who makes the request to the guest".

Jeff whiped his face, "Bro. I can't believe you".

"Wow," smiled Pattie, "It looks like Logan is still tearing teams and families apart".

"Tell me about it," said Jeff.

Logan twirled around with a smile, watching the race on its final lap as he headed back towards Dani's side. The Director nodded in favor that Logan has fail to mature since playing the game as a child. It's only in recent months that he's shown any progression.

Not that it was any of Pattie's business. She left with the notion that she was going to finally beat him next weekend. That left Jeff awkwardly standing alone with the director, coming to ask if there was any way he could reveal who was trying to ban him. The Director heard this pitch several times. He forced a smile and headed back to his office.

Mike sealed the victory for himself and Katie. Something Logan predicted to happen anyway.

He waited for Dani to present the reward of 5,000 player points to Mike and Katie before finally stepping up himself to announce the next round to be for all players in pairs. Though the reward was only for 500 player points.

First one running up to Logan to put her name down was Nami, with Bruce and Eidem right behind her.

One look at her gave Logan a disgusted feeling, "You know you have to be talented in shooting or racing for this".

Nami smiled, "I'm very talented".

"In the ways of Belle Delphine? Where's your partner"?

Nami looked around, grabbing Keith as her partner to fly. Logan laughed at the two, promising an extra 500 points each if they somehow come in the top three.

Keith began breathing heavily, "We got this".

"Fabulous," sang Nami, catwalking to her vessel.

After a moment of starting, she asked if it could be yellow. Just like that, the vessel turned yellow to her liking. A feat that Logan informed her was only doable at this air party.

Regardless, Nami was ready to win this race, and leave her mark on the stadium on her first day.
