This Dysfunctional Team

Much earlier in the day, before Kiki and her crew arrived in town, Mimi and Jaivva reached its borders. Soldiers held torches while patrolling the city. Not a single civilian wondered the dangerous streets in fear of what the prisoners running loose would do to them.

Not that the two girls had anything to fear. They remained alert and snuck their way through town by utilizing dark areas, fixtures, and small alleyways. There were no windows, nor doors they could quietly break into without causing a ruckus.

"We're gonna have to kill them," said Jaivva.

Mimi smiled, "You ready for that"?

Jaivva lightly smacked her hands, "Listen, you seen me and Logan do this".

Mimi smiled, wanting to say something slick, "Okay. We'll see".

Given the doubt, Jaivva was more than eager to get out and put in some work. Their position, in a dark alleyway, felt advantageous. However, there were no soldiers nearby. They remained in pairs, patrolling in the center of the road.
