The First General

Vanessa sprinted out of the alleyway, blocking a soldier and stabbing his gut before tossing him. Jaivva swung her chain, wrapping a second soldier around his neck, and pulled him in to let Vanessa cut off his head.

Jaivva guided her on where to run. Many soldiers came in pairs. The two girls outran most of them and slaughtered the few they couldn't. Vanessa would charge in strong, only to swing her gladius through countless soldiers with ease.

In contrasted Jaivva who remained unpredictable with the swing of her chain and the piercing of the attached blade. Soldiers never knew if they were to be wrapped and tossed or impaled to the ground. Regardless, the two made their presence known as an unstoppable force.

The objective, find a way on top of the building so they can fight the general on his roaming beast. If only it was that simple. The buildings were fairly tall. It was possible they weren't supposed to go up due to safety concerns. But Jaivva, nor Vanessa, cared.
