He's Annoying

Dave made fun of Kiki's various attempts to recruit fighters in the market. They all thought it was absurd to go against the empire. Most in fact were grateful for the wealth the empire brought them, citing how rich they've grown in recent years. Though Kiki explained how many hard workers were still living in poverty within their community, the citizens would sneer off her remarks as a hoax.

No matter how hard things got, tension rose, or the effort Kiki put in, Dave always had a slick comment to follow. It must've been his God-given duty to inflict as much stress as possible against the young woman. She couldn't help but complain to Nana, Jaivva, and Nami that he really was annoying. Nobody could figure out if he was a familiar of someone she knew or a normal AI that just loved bugging her.
