It Was My Fault

Early that Sunday, Mimi pulled the ship up to the port of Constantine. Hakken stood next to Jaivva who was leaning against the edge of the ship, calling to the doves the flew by. It was a ploy for the two to find any threats against them. There wasn't any suspicious activity from the port guards, nor the soldiers. Everything appeared to be fine. Even the weather was perfect.

Mimi remained on the ship, as the rest of the team walked down together. They each carried a rucksack full of weapons. Yet nobody appeared to be a soldier of any kind. Their faces were merry and their hands were clean. When questioned, they reported themselves as sailors of the naval fleet who were exchanging pillaged goods for money. A couple of sailors from the ship came along with them to help carry their armor.
